Chuckle Brothers? Would they make the top ten greatest Chuckle Brothers?

Glaring omissions - James Cook and Joseph Priestley. Not a fan of Parkinson but I'm sure he rates higher than the bloody Chuckle Brothers.

Not so sure your average Yorkshire person would even know who Jodie Whittaker and Penelope Wilton are. I had to Google them both.

Ted Hughes, Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Hockney, To name but a few more, I do despair that Clarkson is seen as a "great" Yorkshireman - great at what exactly? Being a tw*t, well done - plus he takes the p**s out of Rotherham whenever he gets the chance.

Good job Bronte sisters didn`t win or it would have been followed up by an even more tedious poll.

2,000 Brits took part not 2,000 Yorkies feckin Sun rubbish.

The Sun just published it, it wasn't their poll and it is in other papers and media outlets. What is interesting is who drew the list up in the first place and who the hell picked them in the poll. It's a sack of *****.
