I noticed that Chansiri chap at Hillsborough sponsors a stand and also sponsors the shirts. Bet he pays out a fair bit for the privilege.
Maybe Chien Lee will do the same at some stage?

I reckon so, as soon as the contract with CK Beckett is up...

Whats going on in the East with the covers over? Is it the paint job on the steel work that was costing a few hundred grand? Cryne said some of the transfer fees were going towards it but it never started under his tenure.

Why were you or anyone else expecting young talented players when we already had a big squad full of young players on 2 & 3 year contracts. They explained in the first press conference how the clubs recruitment strategy was what attracted them to us.

Why on earth would they rip all that up & give up on investment made by the club last summer after just one season?

That completely goes against what we’ve done the past few years

Next season then. Although I think if that way inclined they would have come up with some ground sponsorship type of deal.

I wonder what the new owners would make of some of the stuff said on here.

Not only that, but we shouldn't overlook the quality of the players brought in for the U23s when the majority of our first team squad is around that age anyway.

There is an excellent chance of some of those lads getting a chance and grabbing it with both hands at this level for all our young players.

It definitely looked like a paint job yes, unless someone had been murdered on top of the sheeting covering the seats

Me neither, but unfortunately these title threads are quickly jumped upon by rival football fans looking in on the forum and thinking were in a mess.

They've included them and moved them into the first team so they must feel as if they are up to it - personally feel the academy at Barnsley is well run and with good coaches. I'll leave it them as they work with them on a daily basis rather than a football message board to choose them

I genuinely don't know who you're talking about. Which young English players have we signed since the new owners took over who are now in the first team squad?

Aaaah- clever ploy by old nudger's lad then...

    Rival fans see his posts.
Post on their own forum that we're in a mess.
Owners of rivals clubs, obviously just like ours, are glued to the unofficial forum, see said posts and put derisory bids in for our players.
BFC board reject laughably low bids.
    We keep players.
    Get promoted.

I posted earlier similar to Nudger
I do not mostly agree with him but on this subject I do.
If they are really and truly interested in getting back up then we need a couple of good quality players in.
Then we need our chief exec to communicate more with the fans. You have to admit we are all running round with guessing but no actual real idea what they are planning
I will repeat my earlier post and back Nudger with his last one that I am not sold on either the New Owners or Ganaye
    As yet
We will see in a couple of months into the season

    Billy Beane's upset Young Nudger
Thought there'd be signings - but there's barely been one
Cos - the Germans have not come.

Agree with post above. They’ve taken up the slack Patrick was covering each season to keep us in the black.
Invested in the U23’s player wise and stabilised the first team in that we’ve not sold off players.
Brought in a new management team and new ideas.
We’re at a stage where we can pick up some players to help us in division 1 and then have to upgrade again or wait and see the reaction from the old players to new ideas and management and then if we have a decent season push on again from the Christmas window with players for the Championship.
Think new midfield lad a great addition and could do with a decent striker and a winger as issie seemed to blow after 60
    mins or kept getting injured.
Think major miss last season fitness and tactics and if new team have addressed this we should be there and there about

Yes, full paint job of all the steelwork inside & outside of the East Stand, big job that won’t be complete till probably October.
West Stand also had a lick of paint to steelwork & staircases.
The players wife lounge in corner disabled stand also now turned into a hospitality area.
The playing surface in the academy has also been renewed according to my lad who goes to the soccer camps in the holidays.
