As a fan who lives in Cambridge I’m looking forward to seeing a few more games this season. Is there any way to get in on the tele rather than the phone?
I’m thinking about an app of x-box or something?

I watched the Hull friendly on my laptop, and simply plugged a hdmi cable into my tv and changed the source.

Is it just midweek away games that will be available to UK ifollow subscribers? As for getting it on the tele, could you put it on your phone and do screen mirroring? I usually put it on the computer and hook it up to the TV with an HDMI lead.

Screen mirroring doesn't work. They have some protection on it.

It says any game not on sky and outside of 2.30pm to 5.15pm on a Saturday (I think)

I didn’t know you could get it on a laptop. How do you do that?

Cheers. I'll have a look into that then. Mind you, I watched most away games from Sheffield, Germany last season...

It worked last season for the full match replays for me using an Apple TV box and my ipad.
I cant think of a good reason why they would block screen mirroring, its not like the sky sports app which is much cheaper for phone so mirroring is blocked. If they do block it though just plug a big monitor into a laptop or your TV if your laptop has an HDMI output - I use a 24inch monitor for work and work at home so worst case I will just watch on my PC

    It's what I do (laptop)

It was a blank screen if I tried to stream from the android app to android tv.

Although that could well just be me like

I did the Hull game off my laptop and to the tv via Chromecast. Worked fine.

Think it excludes games on bank holidays as well. Also, believe it costs 10 pound to watch, regardless of whether you are a subscriber. Although not 100 % certain on this.

Mmm. That's the bit I'm trying to understand.

It came across from the original statement that it might be included in the sub.

I'd be happy to pay 10 quid but not on top of a sub. The sub will go if that's the case

Looking at the ifollow page it seems to suggest live videos of matches aren't included in the monthly pass or season pass. It also gives an option to buy match passes for Tuesday games when i log in. So from that i gather we have to pay extra. Would be helpful to get some clarity from the club though.

Found full statement. I'm not any wiser it isn't clear....

Following iFollow’s successful introduction in 2017/18 for supporters based overseas, enhancements are being introduced to the live streaming platform ahead of the start of the new campaign at no extra cost to viewers.
Improved production values are being implemented across the online broadcasting service, providing Clubs with the scope to introduce bespoke commentary as well as on-screen graphics. Some midweek Championship matches will also benefit from a four camera setup while additional enhancements to iFollow include more in-game statistics via the app, mobile/desktop websites and an improved match centre.
Prices for the platform have been frozen at £110 for the season for overseas viewers, and International Season Pass subscriptions are on sale as of today. Supporters can find out details on how to subscribe by visiting your Club’s website.
In a second development, and in what is a first for English football, some Sky Bet EFL matches will also be made available to watch to supporters within the UK and Ireland throughout the 2018/19 season via iFollow
This development has been made possible due to the new broadcast agreement with Sky which was agreed last year, whereby EFL Clubs have been granted the rights to stream games to a domestic audience, in addition to their followers overseas which has been available since the start of 2017/18.
EFL Clubs will be able to live-stream in the UK and Ireland any league match via their respective iFollow (or equivalent) service that takes place outside the blocked hours of 14.45-17.15 on Saturday afternoons and that is not broadcast live on Sky Sports. Fixtures taking place on Bank Holidays or Easter will be unavailable for streaming. Sky Sports will have the right to stream the same Championship fixtures to subscribers across their interactive and digital services.
Details of how to access EFL matches domestically will be announced in due course.

Just asked on the Ifollow chat thingy and have been told it's an extra tenner regardless of whether you have a subscription
