Good read that. Oxford are tipped to do OK this season. I think they got a bit of a shock.
It just shows the chasm's between Prem & Championship have been extended to Championship & L1,
mostly because half the teams in the Championship are throwing money at getting to the promised land.

Was just about to post that - read it last night. Makes for great reading. There's lots of comments on their board which are of the same ilk. Its lovely to hammer a side and then for their fans to actually acknowledge that they have been hammered by a decent side rather than finding excuses.

Interesting post by one person bemoaning how it shows that the gap between the championship and L1 is now a chasm like it is between the PL and the Championship. Pointed out that all 3 relegated teams went back up last season and this season ourselves and Sunderland are massive favourites do do the same. Something that hadn't struck me before but maybe its true?

Its only 1 game so far but another couple like yesterday and I am going to be looking for automatic promotion.

That is a brilliant read and credit to the Oxford fans who have taken this one squarely on the chin... although they didn't have any other choice did they lol.

Of course they had a choice imagine if we had rolled over the Blunts or Fowls like that their board would be very different. I like oxford fans though and hope that their team bounces back quickly.

I rate Karl Robinson and Im surprised he didn't stay around at Charlton, and he could do a decent job there at Oxford. We've only had 1 game so far of course, but I don't expect them to struggle this season. They should improve on last seasons 16th place finish.
