Some bloke was telling us yesterday that Moore to Rotherham is a "done deal". Apparently Rotherham fans had been posting about it, though I can't find anything to qualify his claims.

Can't see why he would leave us to go back there. Yeah they're in the Championship, but I would expect them to struggle.

Could they offer him more money?

Strange one really. Can't see any legs in it.

Totally committed to our club yesterday like it says above they cannot afford the transfer fee with more performances like that the fee can only go up

Can’t see there being any truth in that at all.

Rotherham will go down I believe and even if they don’t they will struggle like crazy all season. He is far better off staying with us and scoring a lot at this level, then having a go at the championship next season whether that’s with us (fingers crossed) or someone else if we don’t go up.

Plus, they can’t afford him surely?

More money probably. All our team had relegation clauses apparently.
That said, doesn't sound like we are prepared to let any players leave unless we get serious dosh from them. Gone are the days of taking ten bob and a blackies egg for our players according to GG. (Well words to that effect - we've always sold too cheaply)
Bradshaw's been challenged to fire his way to a bigger club than Millwall by doing well for us this season. Didn't sound like any players would be leaving.

if they had a relegation clause then they could also have Price trigger too.

Absolutely critical that we keep him, even more so than Bradshaw for me! He must be the most awkward striker to defend against at this level, a constant threat and I cannot think of anyone we could replace him with, certainly not at this stage of the window.

I try not to be arrogant when it comes to other teams but a move to Rotherham would be totally nonsensical. They already look out of their depth and presuming they won't offer him loads of money, why would you go there to struggle all year?

no disrespect to the lads but Bradshaw and Moore did not really light up the championship last season did they. If they stay at Oakwell they have a chance to mature and improve and become better players. The noises coming from our players about the new coaching team seem very very positive. Hopefully they will stay and we will go up( that's not a given by any means ) maybe by the January window we will be in a position to decide on the future. If we are flying and the teams who are alleged to have put bids in are doing nothing great then we could easily hang onto them. If we are not looking like contenders then we could cash in... Its a long way to go.

I hope this comes from the same 'done deal' stable as Adam Hammill to Bristol City and Conor Hourihane to Sheffield Wednesday.

They couldn't handle him yesterday could they? Must have been most fouled player on the pitch.

Just as one player can be booked for persistent offending, there should also be a rule that punishes singling out of individuals.

I can't see this being true at all. Like already said, it just doesn't make sense. There is more to what division a club is in when it comes to deciding what makes a move attractive and Rotherham wouldn't look attractive to me when compared to staying at Barnsley.

If it turns out to be true though, whether he goes to Rotherham or anybody else it will, in my humble opinion, completely piss on our optimism bonfire. Fire extinguished before its got going. I can't see how we could replace him at this stage of the window and he is absolutely vital to our hopes of barnstorming this league.

I can't wait until the window shuts.

We were rumoured to want close to 2million when Preston were showing interest a few week back really can't see rotherham coughing up more than 1million.

They won’t be able to afford his transfer fee or his wages.

Plus hopefully Moore can see in the long run he’s better off sticking with us because moving to Rotherham will only put him back in league one next season.

Can go for me but I really can’t see him going back to Rotherham.
