Clean the seats and make catering have drink holders like they used to, so it's easier to carry three or four warm drinks on your own.
I saw loads drinking bottles of Carling, looked strange as I’ve never seen it in West before. Bet they made a killing in there with the weather yesterday
I thought exactly the same. Hopefully we get some decent weather for a couple more home games to keep the beer selling. Although, the cold weather won’t stop some of them anyways!
Great interview and both came across really well. Glad they clarified the Times Sq thing after they were criticised for it by some members on here. I might rewatch it, but this time imagining that Paul has had a cheeky bet with Chien that he can't fit more than 50 "y'know"s in within 6 mins
There's more stuff to be done in the East Stand. Not sure what exactly but the CEO was saying it was supposed to be finished but the company doing it had some issues. Maybe more to be seen next home game,
There's some very pretty red metal framework up the East Stand concourse wall. A bit modernistic for my tastes in art but each to their own.
Actually I'd call it minimalist. Nice geometric red shapes the entire length of the stand, about 12 feet up. I suppose you're meant to see beyond the steel red structures to the beauty below on the......errr, breeze blocks On the other hand maybe they are going to attach something artistic to the framework. Can't wait to see what it is........
GG mentioned the gym yesterday and there's a whole load of other improvements in the players' area. The John Stones gym wasn't all that good apparently.
Surprised how little the club have made of this project. If they had informed fans what was to come they may have sold a few more tickets as from what I hear it should be quite special
They would need to halve the price of the beer for me to buy any. £3.80 per bottle and no draught in the East Upper bar next to Gangway 9 yesterday. I grumbled when they put the price of a bottle of Manns up to £1.10 in my local supermarket and that's far superior to what BFC sell.
I think the seats in the Upper Stand are the same ones I sat in with my Dad in 1956 when I first went to Oakwell. Am I wrong?
Maybe they will went its ready to be unveiled but don't know about selling many more tickets. Yesterday's performance on the other hand!
