Makes sense, developing our own players instead of other team’s players. However, I wouldn’t mind seeing a couple of loanees coming in (not 5 or 6 like we’ve had in previous years) if it’s a case that they are better than we can afford to pay. After all, Isgrove, Fletcher and Brownhill didn’t do too badly last time we were in this league. Let’s hope Bradshaw stays though.
Put a decent shift in on Saturday, looked a bit pissed off however when he was told to play wde left when Adeboyejo came on however If we are offered 2.5 m he will be gone, if the bid is anywhere near the last one of 800k however I truly hope we tell them to shove it
Giddings reporting on Twitter that no fresh bid has been made. My only issue with him leaving at this point would be us rushing to replace him.
Not sure if I am reading too much into something here, but Tom has just posted an instagram post of him with his girlfriend and the location was a mini golf centre down in London. Does she live down there or is he down there for talks with Millwall?
Think his brother plays for Sheppey Utd so think he has family in London, He scored a hat trick in their first game of the season on Saturday
They can sod off. Now Hammill has gone Bradders is my new man crush. Not only that but I think he'd be a real loss this season and his goals can fire us back up to the Championship - and if we don't go up he can leave for nothing and a big signing on fee next Summer.
Andy Giddings @Gids1980 1m1 minute ago Understand #barnsleyfc have rejected another offer from #Millwallfc for Tom Bradshaw today. Club want to keep player and standing firm
I’m a bit torn to be honest. Want him to stay and score a bag load. I’ve never thought he’s that great though. Hoped he would replace Winnall but he’s no where near as good in my opinion. He’s apparently pushing for a move, but not put a transfer request in. If Millwall offered us sensible money, and we had a player or two lined up, then I’d not be too upset. Keeping Moore is more important as imagine any decent striker would do well feeding off him.
No idea but seems strange to go all way down there if we are off only to come back here for training tomorrow if they are back in. Really hope they keep standing firm and don’t sell
This is great to hear. If they really want him they will have to stump up a few million, which would allow us to find a decent replacement on a longer deal. Well done Chien and board. They’re sticking to their word.
I'd agree with that assessment. Don't share the same confidence that many have in his ability to score 20 goals this season. However, he does work hard for the team, which makes him suited to the current style of play. Happy if he stays, at the same time I wouldn't be too upset if he leaves. As long as we have a replacement lined up that is.
