Had some great memories backing Barnsley, getting £25 on us at 40/1 for promotion remains my favorite bet (shameless brag).. I’ve just seen we’re 5/1 to be the highest scorers in the league. Without getting ahead of ourselves, I think that’s a pretty decent price. Sunderland didn’t look super convincing at the weekend (granted charlton are one of the better teams), but I do think we’ll face worse teams than Oxford this season. A new season and optimism amongst most of us (nudge nudge wink wink).. so is anyone on anything this season?
I put an each way treble on Man United, Leeds and Sunderland all to win the league. I actually put it on too late on Saturday and the Sunderland Charlton game had already kicked off meaning the league on market was closed and that selection was void so its really just a double. For the record I don't actually think man united will win the league but with how short the odds are on City, there's no point backing them.
I was thinking of having us to go up and Rotherham and Wendy to be relegated. Think Wendy might be ok if they keep Forestieri fit all season if not they’re in MASSIVE trouble.
Betting on your own team is madness. If we win, you’ll be happy anyway. But if we lose it just compounds the misery.
ive had man city west brom charlton and notts county each way acca, liverpool forest portsmouth lincoln each way acca, barnsley to win the league single, carlisle each way
If had friends bet on their team to lose so they ‘win’ either way. I’d say that’s just as badly. I don’t often back us week to week as it is usually us that let my acca’s down when I do
I’ve got City to win the league, West Brom, Portsmouth and Northampton to get promoted. Tenner on us to get promoted. And Cardiff, Bolton, Accrington and Morecambe to be relegated.
