that 2nd string would give any team in this league a run for it money..we are looking strong which we desperately needed ..

    Pretty good that!

If you add bird, Mottley henry, Woolfe, Ben Williams, greatorex & berkoviks the bench wouldn’t be bad for a second string either.

The one I’m interested in seeing develop this year is Jacob Brown. I honestly thought a couple of years ago he was the next big thing from our academy. He seemed to have it all. Pace, power (for his age), good in the air, goals on his right or left foot.

Assume his injury stalled his progress but I really hope we get him back on the path and develop him. I’ve not seen an academy striker as good as him before.

seriously, with good management and maybe a couple of January signings, this could be a great season

we have cover for most positions and a young hungry squad

I agree on Saturday it was pleasing as the substitutes were well timed mcgheen got involved well looked good on the ball, victor got a goal, moncur some nice touches. But when you are 2 up and can bring on mcgheen moncur and Vic in league one you have good depth. I thought we might of brought Izzy on to run at tired legs but wasn't needed.

Think what’s most pleasing is the team on Saturday didn’t even include Izzy or Hedges. Who I expected would be our first choice wingers.

There really are plenty of options of DS. Key may be keeping them happy. Although winning games tends to keep people happy.

Can’t wait to go to Bradford. Although may be going rogue in the home end....

Yeah I'm gutted I didn't get a ticket earlier I can't do the home end thing I honestly don't think I would be able to contain myself if we scored.
Nice choice to have Izzy hedges and thiam fighting over places on wing although I think Bradford away will be a tougher test than Oxford keep jack Payne quiet and let the forwards do the rest.
