To the tune of I’m Still Standing by Elton John “Daniel Stendel, Better than we’ve ever had, He might be a German, But he’s got us playing us like Brazil” ***Drops mic***
Daniel stendal, Better than we've ever had Picking up the pieces from paul. Heckinbottom could not do it all. Poor effort? Beer involved mind...
Listen to Chorus of September by Earth Wind & Fire - Daniel Daniel, Daniel Strendal <repeat forever> totally works guys from 50 seconds in.
Daniel Stendel better than we've ever had He likes a pint in tarn Oh he goes out drinking with the lads Daniel Stendel YEAH YEAH YEAH
I don't even like the first two lines. Sounds a bit premature to me - "best we've ever had" ? After one game?
Daniel Stendel, He’s our German King, Gonna win the league 1 title, Gonna win everything, Daniel Stendel, Yeah Yeah Yeah.
Ain't that the McCarthy song? We could change the words now he's gone. I loved the Marley Watkins song a couple of seasons ago.
It’s a work in progress Could just go with “Daniel Stendel...Reds...Reds...Reds!” I’ll not give up my day job then.
To the tune of searching for freedom (which launched hasselhoffs career in germany and was a big hit) One day in December came Chien Lee and co We became a rich mans club We had everything that money could buy, but Stendel we had none We've been looking for Stendel We've been looking so long We've been looking for Stendel Jose Morais has gone We've been looking for Stendel To come and save the Tarn We've been looking for Stendel Stendel has been found
We are the fans who were singing: "Jose's playing the way that Barnsley should," as we were on our way to relegation. Our songs are excessively-positive!
Daniel Stendel We love you more than you'll ever know You're better than Guardiola You're better than Mourinho Any good?
This is a very well known and easily "singable" German song. There's a good "oh oh oh oh oh" line which anyone can join in with. I'm rubbish at lyrics but if our fans sang a song to this tune the German lads in the dugout would recognise it immediately.
My favourite part of teaching had to be playing this song (on repeat) as part of PE/Dance during our Caribbean topic
