This is going to be the most enjoyable season for Barnsley fans for at least the last 20 years.

Absolutely bonkers reaction to 2 wins. Give it time. All people like you are doing is giving yourselves ammunition if we SHOCK HORROR don't get automatic promotion.

Having watched Barnsley for 60 years people like me might just tell a good thing when we see it.
I presume you are not impressed with what you have seen so far.

    I am.

But we’re only 2 games in.

If come 10 games in I am equally as impressed then I will agree we could be in for an outstanding and enjoyable season!

    You reds

It has the makings of something special for sure, but it's early early days so let's just enjoy seeing how things pan out. I remember when Devante Cole tapped in the fourth goal at Oakwell as we demolished Gillingham under Wilson. Jennings ran amok and Treacy, Berry et al looked a class apart. How quickly things changed! But yes, the sheer comfort and comprehensiveness of our two victories do give significant hope for the season. I'm as excited as I have been for a long time by how things are looking. But let's keep in mind that League One can be tough and if we continue winning, every team will be hacking us to death or at least defending so deep it'll be a challenge most weeks. Let's enjoy the ride!

That’s very true - expect Wimbledon to ‘park the bus’

One thing I noticed was how quickly we won the ball back against Oxford and Bradford - we put them under a lot of pressure which either got the ball or forced an error. We will inevitably concede the odd goal from counter attacking that said.

When teams do sit very deep against us kieffer moore will have to be the target - and he’s good at this. Plus we will have to overload the wings which we have the players to do as we have pacy full backs.

And remember how we went from being bottom to the best team in the league last time; not impossible it goes the other way.

I'm confident, but some of the comments I've seen are crazy from fans of a team so rarely used to success. If either of our two strikers get injured we're seriously short of firepower, that's my main concern.

The backup firepower worries me too!
It's great that Victor is getting his chances.
I guess we might see tomorrow what he is really like Against the seniors.
They have to try him out with a start.
Wouldn't want it to be forced upon us in a league match.
I still hope we get another loan to perm striker in, just in case.
Otherwise it's 4 months to January

Everything is great at the moment.
    We have momentum and confidence.
I hope that lasts a long time.
Would be great to have a long unbeaten start to the season
That would really put the cat amongst most of us pigeons:)

Probably best wait and see if we can carry on this kind of form during the winter when pitches start getting heavier to see if we can still perform like we are now.

Andreas in the press conference said they are happy to go with the squad they have!
Confident in Victor as a starter!

We have had a lot of shi.te to put up with in the last 12 years.
It’s no coincidence that the good times have suddenly returned with a change in ownership - which is something a handful of us have been asking for a long time.

But as usual there was the usual negative abuse ...... who’s going to buy us ???

In the previous 12 seasons - most of the team you see now would have been sold.
And another 15 or more players brought in to restart the magic roundabout.
It’s not happened this time - and straight away we see the benefits.

Stendel is a good manager - but we have lost a lot of good managers over the last few years as the rug has been pulled from under them.

IMO - when we kicked off against Oxford - that was the start of Barnsley Football Club BUILDING a football team and a club.

Let's hope the tide has turned Nudge & Daniel and his coaches are here for the long haul
And in turn are backed by the club and us
Long may the current form & belief continue
    Why not, I say :)

Winning games of football as opposed to losing them alters fans perceptions of the club as a whole?

    Unnecessary question mark.

We had some good times under the previous owner as well , cannot believe your memory is that short that you cannot remember our promotions & wembley trips in the last 12 years , selective memory alert !

We were getting ready for relegation back to league 1 before the team bus left Wembley Stadium.
Hence the debacle of 01/17 that will live long in the memory.
I’m positive that those dark days are behind us.
