Gauthier Ganaye is a credit to this football club, as are many of his colleagues. I feel privileged to support a club which still has a proper relationship with, and cares about, its supporters. And Chris, if you’re on here, not sure of your username on here but I can see from your tweets you use the bbs, I’ve been there mate. There is no stigma, no shame, anxiety and depression snuck up on me and hit me like a ton of bricks. It can and will effect everyone at some point on some level. It is clear that there is no magic cure. But it can - and will - get better. Hopefully you’re already speaking to someone, via the nhs or mind or samaritans, anywhere. If not, try and do so. It will help. Good luck pal. You marvellous reds
Proper quality from GG and the club. Content of the letter also spot on and true empathy shown. I know not done for any publicity but with names etc removed should get national attention for how clubs should/ could be run. Quality BFC
After reading the "State of Football" thread, you could be forgiven for thinking that supporters are of little interest to clubs these days. And then this letter comes along and proves otherwise. Well done Mr Ganaye - I take my hat off to you, sir.
That’s what it’s all about, look after one and other, if it weren’t for the fans no football club would be what it is. Great gesture and I hope Chris gets well soon
