Stunning move, fantastic technique, dipping volley into the top corner!

You know what? I expect this EVERY game this season :)

Really pleased moncur scored, he could be quality this year and to keep going, stay and shine after the grief he got last season deserved or not shows some backbone. You reds

Not sure how much was down to the cross but the sky sports app says it was a Cavare cross.

After the Oxford game I said he just needs to improve his crossing and he’ll be a great full back. 2 assists in 2 now for the lad.

37 - George Moncur is putting in some performance! He cuts in from the wing, beating two men, before his curling effort is parried away by Howard. We remain at 0-1.

You’re right, he did! Although Thiam had a lot to do with it.

He did to be fair but the ball has got to get to him before he can work his magic

Sounds like a fairly decent first half from Matts commentary & can’t wait to see George’s goal.

Only worry is our sloppiness at the back. Pinnock, Pinnilos and Cavare all guilty by sounds of sloppy play or loose passing. Seen it in both league games so hopefully something Stendel is working on. Would like to see one or both of the full backs rested for second half ahead of Saturday. Must be knackering position in the way we play and crucial to getting the width and crosses in.

All the more reason to keep a similar11 every week to form a solid team. This chopping and changing ****** is no good be it premier league or nelson league.

Think this is just a one off. We’ll have plenty of Saturday/Tuesday in the league. No need burning them out in the Haribo Cup. If we win it’s a bonus.

Hope to see a couple of early changes second half. No extra time to worry about.

With play such a high intensity tactic you'll have to rotate at some point anyway or you'll run your players into the ground. If we don't want a collapse after Christmas this seems like a sensible tactic. Keep them fresh.
