No, match sharpness to get? Moncur, Mcgeehan, Jackson, Isgrove etc etc. Need more game time to get up to speed, they're late substitutes in most games.

Ha ha the good way to run a football club is to have two teams running along side each other sadly this has bee eroded away by money and a soft approach to competitive football

Top of the league with 6 goals scored and 2 wins, yet people are posting utter ***** like this after we run out the reserves in a cup that generates **** all cash and that no one cares about normally. I despair.

If we bounce back with a win on Saturday tonight will soon be forgotten.
Hope it doesn’t knock the confidence we’d built up, that’s the only worry. Not too concerned about being out of the League Cup.....

Doing away with the reserve league was the most stupid decision that anyone in football has made in many a year. Replacing it with a youth league shows exactly what priorities there are these days and it helps nobody except the very top teams

Agree completely, and hopefully we’ll bounce back and stuff Wimbledon. Always tough if we didn’t have Moore, Mowatt, Thiam and Potts starting. They’ve been key to how we play.

Still good for Stendel to know what we have in the locker if any of those get injured, and if he can see an area to improve he’ll hopefully have the backing to do it.

Ideal result. Ground the players and fans with a defeat in a pointless competition in an empty stadium.

The focus is the league. If you gave me promotion, and we have to lose every cup game 10-0, I'll take it all day every day.

Possibly too many changes. Having said that, we did have some chances.

Victor put one over the bar at 1-0 when he really should have scored, and also was clean through at 1-1.

Goals change games and we looked pretty toothless.

Back to last Saturdays starting 11 for me.
