The man arrested for yesterday's terror attack in London has hired Ben Stokes' lawyer. In further news hes been released and 4 cyclists have been charged under the prevention of terrorism act.
I've stayed out of the Stokes discussion threads on here until now because I couldn't be bothered to follow closely the details of yet another "sports star involved in grubby nightclub brawl" story. He got off. As I say, I don't know enough to pass comment on it. I have just read Dan Roan's article on the BBC website though which lists his past misdemeanours and the ECB's decision about whether to discipline him on bringing the game into disrepute. I've got to say that, from what I've read, there's no way I want this guy representing England for the foreseeable future.
No he isn't, he said he should be in the team & not suspended again but that he should not be treated like a conquering hero.
