I go to the match with my son who is 11 so wouldn't dream of boozing, time and place for drinking and being drunk while the majority of others around you are sober doesn't sit right with me.
Well why would you? My dad took me from being 6 years old until i decided i was a big boy and wanted to go on my own when i was 12. Never ever did he have an alcoholic drink before, during or after the match.
Home games sometimes have 1 in the east dene if we land early enough. When I used to go to away games usually had a couple or 3 as tended to be landing earlier and I’m not one for sitting in the ground until around 5 mins before kick off. I have been hammered twice at away games though, once for the Cardiff final as we were drinking all the way there on the minibus and then in Cardiff before the game , luckily I was younger and it didn’t really effect my memory of the day. The other time though was the Man City away Cup when we got beat by 6 I think? I was seeing double all the game and couldn’t clear my eyes no matter how much I tried blinking/concentrating!! which was proper annoying as I couldn’t tell where the ball or players where properly . I’ve not drunk that much before a game since.
That sounds like the problem our players had they couldnt tell where the ball or players were either that game Not a bad one to miss following to be honest
Don't drink at home games as I'm driving. Occasionally have a few before an away game when I can get to them. Don't get totally lathered, at least not these days. In my londontykes days, I do remember being so pissed I feel asleep at Leicester away one year.
Anywhere between 5 and 9 pints depending on how **** we are. I averaged 15.285478 pints per match last season. #believe
I’ve done with this BBS. Threads on a Friday night about watching a football match stone cold sober? Dearest BBS, we used to be friends you and I....
