I think the only way this will happen is 2 fold:

A bigger social club is available that serves decent reasonably priced beer (like the excellent one at Wallsall) as its clear there are a lot of fans that start the match day with a few drinks, so the club needs to get these drinking at the ground instead of across various boozers in town. Redfearns shows it works but obviously has limited capacity.

The outside fanzone area that has been mentioned so that fans with kids and teenagers have something to be at the ground early for. Don't know what this would involve as I've never been to aground with a 'fanzone' - although one of the lads at work said Donny did it for their opening day and had a decent response to it - they had bands playing and food stalls etc.

Usually in Redfearns for a excellent pint of whatever acorn beer they're serving or occasionally in town

That's been a downfall of the club for decades. Five figure home crowds and it's town centre drinking establishments that benefit from it, not us. It's always been a shame across from the ground we don't have a two floor spacious club run pub similar to Brammahs. On matchday it would be busy from the moment the doors open. For away games people could go in for a drink and breakfast before official coaches set off.

There's a fabulous area outside the Ponty End on the large space outside the offices and shop etc.
That's where most people pass on their way into the match so why not get outdoor entertainers, games, fan participation events, local bands, singers etc. In winter you could do these things in the East Stand concourse.... don't know about the other stands.
I don't know what it takes to organise such things but surely we have the wherewithal at the club to do this and make it more enticing to turn up early.

That’s a cracking idea, I’m sure local promoters would do a lot of it for free. As it would be amazing publicity for anyone involved. If the club could put up one of those German beer tents as well!

That area is a car park that brings in money. You can't have events there when hundreds of cars are using that area. It would be an accident waiting to happen.
