I can't even think of an English born Asian player playing in the Football League, never mind one that's international standard.
Chris Dolby was the first Asian player I know that much. Used to work at Oakwell at the football school they used to do. Manages Sheffield FC now I think
That's because if the BBC were running football they would make it compulsory to have a player of each ethnicity , one transgender, somebody with one leg and a fat bloke. Simple answer is nobody turns away anybody who is good enough!
BBC love ticking boxes with diversity. Won't see an article of when will Britain produce a decent white 100 metres runner.
