Anyone?! Surely Ben Williams can offer more than Pinnilos.

No, we've not conceded a league goal, no changes needed at the back they're doing their jobs.

He hasn’t come across a good winger yet imo and he’s struggling now . Need one for cover at least even if you give him the benefit of the doubt.

Full backs need to offer more than defensive solidity in the formation we play. I thought he was poor and doesn’t offer enough going forward. I’d be looking for a change myself.

Pinnilos had a poor game today but in him and fryers weve probably got 2 of the best left backs in the league.

Did well to avoid a yellow card for slamming the ball down and then he wasted our own time seconds later by putting the ball in to the stand. Twice he avoided a yellow thanks having a ref that wasn't card happy.

Can’t single Pinillos out today from the full backs. The first two games both our full backs for me have improved massively, both attacking wise and defensively.

But today both were almost lazy in possession, daft passes that go out of play shows they’re not lifting their heads up and communicating. Cavare in particular with the daft one touch flicks that just bounce off the player marking him screamed laziness.

Cavare is not a footballer. He's awful.

We're a bit lop sided because down the right, Cavare is very willing to get up and put crosses in, but Pinillos rarely seems to venture over the halfway line.

I wouldn't be looking to drop him though on the basis of today's game.

Been one of the best players on the pitch in the first 2 games. He’s an exceptional player, almost unplayable when he gets a head of steam up, and once he can concentrate for a full 90 he’ll be playing top league football in this country or abroad.

Do you genuinely believe that? Fair enough if you do, we're all entitled to an opinion.

I just find this idea that we're so much better then everyone else really bizarre. There's no evidence for it. Pinillos is as slow a full back as I've ever seen. Any winger will beat him if they push the ball round him. He gets destroyed, time and again. Fryers doesn't even look like a footballer a lot of the time. The ball appears entirely alien to him. I reckon if you pick any left back at random from any side in this division you're going to get better than these two. You might even do so if you select their reserve. George Williams was streets ahead of them both and he was in a team that was relegated last season.

I loved our performances against Oxford and Bradford. They were just fantastic, built on hard work and desire. If we can keep that work rate up (which is very difficult to do) we'll have a decent season. If we don't, and we think we can rely on having better players than the rest, then it's going to be another long hard slog, because we haven't got a stand-out squad.

He'll never do what he's capable of for a full 90. Consistently. No point waiting for it to happen.

He was exceptional today, in that his crossing was exceptionally bad.

Though he did drop one on Bradshaw's head in the second half, which should have been made more of.

I completely agree he has a lot to work on and improve on. The fact he landed an inch perfect cross onto our strikers head for the second week in a row is a positive. He was one of the best prospects in European football before his knee put him out for 2 years. It’s all about opinions but I think if he really works hard at his game he’ll be moving on to a far bigger club in 12 months.

I agree completely in that Pinnilos is the only player I see in our team and wonder why. Every other player I can see or understand the logic. But he was getting mullered all second half against Bradford. Their young kid on loan killed him.

We would need to unload one of him or fryers to bring someone in (assume we paid over the odds wages for both, and a fee for Pinnilos), but I would rather we let both go and get two new in. Should keep looking to strengthen and left back is definitely our weak spot. Spend some of the Mawson, Jackson, Knasmullner, Mallan money on a quality left back, a winger and a striker and I would say the board have shown they are going for promotion (without going “crazy”). Go with what we’ve got and I think they’re flipping a coin and hoping Stendel can do it on the cheap.

It’s no surprise to see Oxford got mullered again today. And Bradford lost. Early season results should be taken in context when you’ve see how the teams get on after you’ve played them.
