No sympathy. Thought he was better than us.

Johnson now getting similar abuse. 4 wins in 24 is his current record.

Wish he had been on the wing for us today.

I see McBurnie getting some stick from Swansea fans on social media. Seems crazy from what we saw of him last season.

A big season for old Lee Johnson I'd say . Homegrown honeymoon period is well and truly over . Could be one for the chop if things don't pick up.

I think he's blagged a living for long enough. Good run followed by bad is the theme of his career to date. Eventually someone will see through him and stop trusting him with their money.

Marley was a player for us no doubt about it - not done much since agreed but he looked class in league 1. Strong, play a few positions, impact from bench and goals - take that kind of player back tomorrow

Si thi.. (always liked it when people put that lol)

If players base their career on money in the bank, he's been successful since leaving us. If they base it on regular first team football then Marley is one of the probably 90 odd percent of players that leave us for better and it's not the case. Put him with the likes of Nardiello, Howard, Bogdanovic etc.

To me he’s a player that very well demonstrates everything that’s wrong about football.

He was doing well with us. Promising. Improving. Would most likely have had a good year has he stayed with us. Potentially playing up front in place of Winnall and developing the CF role at Oakwell.

Instead he fooked off for 10k a week and a move later (due to failure) is probably made for life.

    Sithi Marley

    He probably gives zerofucks

    Modern football is rubbish 2018

But he only 'fooked off' when we alienated him by dismantling the team he played in. He was on the up (like they all were) and had a shot at promotion to the premiership when 'the powers that be' decided to sell the best players meaning that not only were the fans shafted but so we're the rest of the players who had that opportunity and dream ripped away from them. When it became clear we had zero intention of replacing those lost players I don't blame him for one second for 'fooking off'.

That's fair enough, although from what I've heard it wasn't so black and white. Certain players wanted to try and force a move in January, not really giving much of a toss about league positions. The rest of the squad wanted to stay together until at least the end of the season, and have a proper crack at promotion. That's why I don't really understand the Hourihane love-in. He was by all accounts one of the most instrumental ones in destroying the team in January. He just appeared to go about it in a more dignified way than Winnall, because he's a bright and articulate bloke. The net result was the same though.

Suppose we will never know. But players only leave when bids are accepted. We didn't seem fondant to hang on to anyone. Easy for me to say as it's not my money I know But if I had been in charge Winnall would not have moved to Wednesday for such a pathetic fee. It was weak of the club to give in so easily.

I agree, in theory at least. It should have been made extremely clear to the players that nobody was going anywhere before the end of the season. Then nobody would even have got any ideas about leaving. But of course they did, and by that point it's extremely hard to put the brakes on things. That is of course assuming that the club wanted them to stay.......

Why hasn't any of the current squad forced a move? They've all dropped down a division as well so l would've expected it more this season.
