The game was crying out for these two in the second half today, was Izzy injured again after playing on Tuesday night?? We really need him fully fit and firing, I've never liked Potts out wide but I really like him through the middle! Same with Hammill, surely he is worth a deal! We are low on numbers in the forward/wide area, he would have been an ideal sub to bring on. I looked at our bench and it didn't look like a bench that could come on and change a game in the final third!! We need a fast nippy striker as well to come on and work off Moore, Bradshaw can finish but hasn't got any pace!

Izzy is injured and will be out for a week or two. Hamill doesn't play for us anymore and moved on at the end of last season ;-)

Cavare got in some great positions and wasted almost every cross.

Its so frustrating. We have one of the best headers of the ball in the league and dont supply him with decent ball in the box. Moore won everything yesterday in the air outside of the box but didnt get a decent cross for him inside it. If we had a player who can cross a ball, we would have won yesterday.

The Hammill situation has been and gone but why the hell we didn't keep him, I'll never know. Isgrove couldn't tie his laces.

    Probably because either

    a. Hamill himself felt that, at 30 years old, he hasn't got time to drop back to L1 if he feels he can still do a job at a higher level.

    Or

    b. He still feels he is worth what we were paying him at championship level, but we can't afford to pay that at L1 level.

I am sure if it suited both parties it would have happened by now. But it appears it doesn't. It isn't necessarily anything that is in the clubs hands to resolve. Unless they want to pay far more than is reasonable for a stable L1 club for a player who may not even be a regular first choice starter. Its gone, leave it.

Be a decent move for him that.

I hope he signs for someone soon just so the different rumours daily/weekly can stop.

He’s always been the same. We shouldn’t have signed him.

Personally I hope we sign that lad on loan from Villa as he seems to be a real creative player and is pacy.Villa fans all rate him highly and reckon he would be in there first team if this knee injury hadn’t happened in may .

Isgrove will be 26 in January. I wonder how old he will be by the time he makes his 100th league appearance.

Strange then that apparently he's on trial at Scunthorpe a L1 club with much lower gates than us. The reason he hasn't signed with us is because somebody running the club doesn't like him. I'm guessing because he called them out over Morias the clown and they didnt like it.
