I didn’t rate him massively nor did I mind him. He lacked a yard of pace but had decent ability going forward, defensively not the best.

As surprised as anyone that I’m saying this but Potts would be in there somewhere. Lindsay over Roberts, Moore maybe uptop (don’t forget Fletcher only started regularly from about Wigan onwards).

Do the 40+ games that a lot of them played last season not count then ?

Nope. Last season didn't happen or is forgiven and forgotten.

And herein lies the beauty of opinions. I don’t think brownhill was half the player scowen was but I may well be in a minority.

I thought McCarthy was just awful. I'm still scared that Cavare will take someone by the neck and murder them. Admittedly, that's my impression from last year, he's shown no signs of doing that this season. His crosses are hit and miss, but as a right back, doing the defensive side of his duties he's looking very good, Most improved player from last season for me, and I fully endorse selling McCarthy to be replaced by a young lad with potential.

Death, taxes and differing opinions on the BBS :)

It’s not an opinion that brownhill played in midfield and scowen played right back however.

That may been because scowen was a better emergency right back of course who knows

He's scored eight goals in his entire career, and only three of them were not in League One.

Maybe the full backs, if not better are around the same. Remember we ended up with Scowen at right back. I take your point but that side also fell to the bottom of the league in the first half of the season. Bit early to judge how well the current lot will do even if I do think you will be proved right.

Are you talking about Ashley fletcher? Because he scored 9 goals for us and he's scored two goals this week

Sorry... Wikipedia gives *league* goals only. His grand total of eight is league goals.

Whatever. Bradshaw has been halfway decent in the Championship. Fletcher never has. I stand by what I said: sooner either of Moore or Bradshaw than Fletcher.

Fletcher has dined out on his loan spell with us for years to be fair.

Fletcher or Moore is a reasonable debate. Winnall was streets ahead of any of them. And out of those four Bradshaw would be bottom of my list. In fact id have Watkins above him too.

Wikipedia gives whatever someone has bothered to update it with. Go with that if you like or go with that with what you actually saw, presuming you went to those games, If you did then then there's isn't an argument, is there?

Davies (On top form) v Davies (Hopefully coming back to form) 1-0
    Williams v Cavare 2-0
    Roberts v Pinnock 3-0
    Mawson v Lindsay 4-0
    White v Pinillos 5-0
    Watkins v Potts 6-0
    Brownhill/Scowen v Dougall 7-0
    Hourihane v Mowatt 8-0
    Hammill v Thiam 9-0
    Winnall v Bradshaw 10-0
    Fletcher v Moore 11-0

I really like Pinnock, Lindsay, Dougall and don't dislike any of the rest but dispassionately it's 11-0, easily, for mine.

    Davies
    Cavare Mawson Pinnock Scowen
    Hammill Hourihane Dougall Thiam
    Winnal Fletcher

Cavare, Mawson, Hammill, Hourihane and Winnall (and Davies) are shoe ins. Rest is more difficult.

You’re honestly claiming Davies over Davies and therefore an 11-0?
