We never ever learn looks like another player his agent and a **** housing club have bent the club over and shafted it. The head coach begged them not to sell Bradshaw due to his importance to his plans how must he be feeling now. Once again we were told no one leaves once again it was ********.

It’s swings n rarnderbarts . There was a player on display last night for the opposition played for us who when Palace made a decent bid for him fans were having an hissy fit so we kept him and he went for peanuts anyway cos he weren’t good enough long term

Tom Bradshaw wants to leave because his bird lives in London and she's due his baby. It also allows him a move back to higher league where he has scored goals before (admittedly not prolifically). He's out of contract at the end of the season so would the club not be better off trying to cash in on a striker that wants to leave? I admit 1 million is low but its better than nothing in 10 months time.

All that can only be answered on if we can get a good replacement in ASAP or if we are stuck with two strikers until January. If it’s the latter then I’d say it definitely isn’t worth the risk.

Yep I agree with that and hopefully we have the customary add ins in case he does come good and a newly promoted team to the Prem gives a stupid bid in their bid to stay up

We have learnt.... Look at the squad! Bradshaw is replaceable so if we can get adequate cash for him and he wants to go then so be it.

If we had sold everybody of any value and started again like we have in the past then I'd understand what your saying but we haven't.

Bradshaw is a decent league 1 player and average championship player. Should we get out of the division, he was one who I thought we should offload.

He hasn't overly impressed me if I'm honest so providing we do sign a replacement on a similar deal (loan to permanent), then I won't be losing any sleep over him leaving if he does go

Scoring record for us has been average, I'd say there are better and defo quicker players out there worth bringing in beit from domestic or overseas.

I really doubt Stendel begged them not to sell Tom Bradshaw in all honesty. Was behind Winnall, Fletcher, McBurnie in quality when they were at Oakwell, hence there are players out there who can more than replace Bradders.

I agree. She is due to give birth in just over 3 months and his contract is due to run out in summer anyway. When he signed it he probably wasn’t thinking about becoming a dad or being tied down but his circumstances have changed now and it’s running out soon anyway so it makes sense with timings. I know people don’t like to think of it like this, but it’s a job at the end of the day. He’s always worked hard for us and if he leaves now we get a million pounds for him and he gets to enjoy being a first time dad and starting a family. He’s not even going to a team in the same league as us so we’re not selling to a rival and every player wants to play at the best level they can. He’ll be too knackered to be much good after his kid arrives anyway ;)

I'll look forward to one of those being brought in to replace him then but I bet I'm going to be disappointed when we sign an 17 year old from Burnley u18s instead

I like Bradshaw and can see he works hard but he hasn’t got much pace. Stendel might be perfectly happy with him leaving if he has someone else in mind.

I'm sure there are no end of strikers who are better than Bradshaw, but (a) they have to be affordable; (b) they have to want to come here; and (c) they have to suit Stendel's system. And that's without taking The Plan and The Spreadsheet into account.

Not sure who that leaves us with.
    Ideas,anybody?

His Mrs is pregnant and might be from the south but she lives with Bradshaw near Huddersfield currently.

I think this is exceptionally poor business by Barnsley fc.

A million pounds is nothing if it derails our promotion bid. Make no mistake, forwards who run their blood to piss are not ten a penny. He’d get his fair share of goals too over the season. He’s going to leave a massive hole in the team. We have nobody who could do that job.

I don’t see any benefit at all of doing this for Barnsley fc.

If they’re doing it just for his benefit - like Knasmullner and Mallan - then they need to have a little more backbone in my eyes.

All those saying they don’t rate him and let him go - well you’re entitled to your opinion. I think we will regret this if it happens.

Reckon either Conor Chaplin or one of Mr Stendels former players has passed the spreadsheet test.

Selling now when we cannot replace him Is daft imo. I have no objection in general but the timing is poor.

You may be right and Stendel could well have someone in mind. Let's hope so...
