Interview | Sam Winnall Interviews Ahead of Saturday’s Sky Bet League One clash with Scunthorpe United we caught up with a player who represented both clubs with distinction - the prolific Sam Winnall! Continue reading on the official site...
Shame they never got round to asking him about him and his agent leaking pictures of him signing for Wednesday on the day of a club legends funeral. Sam togwell must have been busy so we had to interview the snake.
Not the greatest career since leaving us. Didn't score many for Wednesday, wasn't a regular like with us, manager wasn't a fan, run in with a team mate and sent on loan where he got a horrible injury. Sure the large bank balance has softened the blow mind.
Decent read to be fair, dont blame him for celebrating after the abuse he got but that was to be expected when you go to a rival team.
Lovely read. Shame I was reading every sentence while there was “rat” and “Disrespected Rimmo” floating round my head. Good striker but an utter ******. Empty words talking about respect with what he ended up doing.
................ ‘But under Hecky everyone loved and respected him and wanted to win for him’. HECKY was BRILLIANT!!!! No matter what people say on here. He had the carpet pulled from under him. Hecky fitted Barnsley - Barnsley fitted Hecky. The best manager BFC has had in my lifetime. Fingers crossed Stendel is nearly as good.
Ar it’s a shame one of them disrespected a club legend on the way out, moved to on of our bitter local rivals, and then ran half the length of the pitch to celebrate in front of all of us when he scored. Oh and then the other ditched us to go another bitter local rival who he said in his own words that he hated them.
WTF. Why the **** is that on our website, its 4 pages longer than the one for Ashley Ward - a proper club legend. Sort it out.
Hmmmm! Is this softening up the way for him to return on a loan/permanent deal next week? He isn't getting much game time at Wednesday is he? Would you have him back?
Good player for us but **** how he left, no matter what he says went on behind the scenes. I’m sure whatever went down he still could’ve managed the whole situation a lot better. I love Scowen’s face on the picture of Winnall celebrating against us, you can tell he’s thinking “what a ****”.
Nope I don’t think so. Don’t think we would have given Woodrow no 9 if that was the case. Best we all move on.
Haters - open your tiny minds. He is a professional footballer - ie a mercenary, like all the others in our squad. Barnsley fans chanted his name when he played for us and "hated" him when he left. Grow up. There's no loyalty in football - it's a business. I enjoyed reading what he had to say.
