The point is, we ARE at automatic promotion level. We've just been unlucky/had bad spells in 2 games.
41 games left in the season. Hard to make heads or tails of the table yet. There are a few contenders showing already, but the question is who will be able to keep it up.
But 11 points from 5 games IS promotion winning form, you don't seriously expect 4 other teams to get 100+ points, do you?
Puts you up there with the people who flippantly use the subject of rape to try and be humorous. Pray to god you never have to, or know anyone who has had to go through something as horrible as cot death, you inconsiderate attention seeking ******. Apologies to everyone for the outburst
Are SOME fan's forgetting what happened when we were bottom at Christmas 2 years ago ? For goodness sake get a grip
Still unbeaten, and have been the better team in every single league game we've played. Tommy tap in leaving us didn't effect us today. We conceded from a daft pen and a set piece. Scunthorpe defended for their lives at 2-2. Big positives came from today's draw. We showed how resilient we are by almost coming back to take the points, and Brown's introduction showed that we have quality on the bench.
Oh piss off u knob! So calling me a bellend is acceptable to you is it? Now I’m an attention seeking ******? You don’t know me and I thank god I don’t know chisellers like you. What makes you so correct when your not in possession of any knowledge at all about me but for a reply to an insult? My reply was meant as it sounded, cot death isn’t funny at all and neither was that insult, that was the whole point you dullard. Replies like this are exactly why this board is on its arse these days, ffs!
Yes, we still haven’t lost in the league which is a big plus. Teams above us are showing it’s far from a two/three horse race though so far.
I think we only missed Bradshaw in that we chose the wrong guy to replace him but as soon as Cauley is ready that’ll be sorted.
None of the top 6 have played each other yet and there's only been one game between teams in the top eight, yesterday's 0-0 between Donny and Pompey. It's a self-fulfilling prophesy at this stage that the teams at the top will largely only have played teams near the bottom. Peterborough have played Luton in 10th and then four others in the lower half.
Did you expect any different? Just because the club said they are targeting automatic promotion, it doesn't mean they promised to win every game comfortably and that all the other clubs wouldn't try.
We've scored 12 goals in 5 league games. The "big player" we sold contributed 1 goal and no assists to that total. If we're talking about his overall contribution, it had bugger all effect at Blackpool or v Wimbledon. We'll be fine, we are fine. We have a good team at this level. They showed that in spades in the second half yesterday when they overpowered a very determined team with a plan.
