Saw him outside of the WELL when we played Oxford. Obviously scouting for Bradford. One or two of us shouted over to him - but he scuttled away sheepishly.
How do these **** managers just keep getting jobs. Why does a chairman look and think he’s been crap there, there, there and there. We’ll have him
Don't get the hate towards him. Bradford fans are wishing him all the best in droves on the Scunny Twitter announcement article. Going on his Wikipedia write up he's not done too bad. Part of the coaching staff that got the Blunts to the premiership. Took over Bradford during some of their darkest ever days and with only 13 available players he built a squad that finished tenth. His budget got cut and he even took a paycut to help the club out. He took over Motherwell and got them champions league football for the first time in their history. He also got them their highest ever league finish of second and the manager of the year award. He showed loyalty to them when the Blunts wanted him. Then he lost a handful of his successful team, replaced them and finished second again. He got the new Rangers to third in the championship and got let go with Mark Warburton reaping the rewards of the team Stuart built. Then he went back to Bradford where he got them to the play off final and the following season sacked whilst they were in the play offs. He has done well everywhere he's been and I can see why Scunny have gone for him.
He couldn't get Rangers out of the Scottish second division. I bet half the people on here could do it.
