Nudger get a grip!!!! living in BARNSLEY in 70s 80s 90s was **** an as Calendar said living in Yorkshire as a whole was ****!!! As you probably well know!!! The film if you bother to do your research picks up on that fact and shows how the season in the prem changed the whole town and the club entirely... Those changes are seen to this day in and around the club!! Dyson: Well done mate I've got my ticket for next week an hopefully see ya there to say 'Hi'. By looks of it Nudger won't get to see it anyway cos I'm assuming your not releasing it on Video Tape
I think nudger likes films that don’t show true to life events I think he’s more into science fiction than films that show the true background and the magnitude of BFCs achievement amongst the political and industrial carnage that he’d taken place and the aftermath . Can’t you do one for nudger with Julie Andrews singing the hills are alive on the pitch . Or one where nudger turns out to be the hero and gets the girl.
Pure Nudger. If there are two sides to any argument he will choose negative. Even without any evidence.
If it is how you describe it ......... ‘how the season in the prem changed the whole town and the club entirely...’ Then that’s great !!! My concern was that it was going to paint the town and club badly...... with statements such as ....... this was a unique occurrence - we will never see Barnsley promoted into the Premiership again. A statement made like that would undermine the whole town, the club and the new owners. And yes ...... I am very very aware of how easy it is to criticise ....... compared to how difficult it is to create or build something.
Maybe go to the vimeo site which has multiple segments of the interviews that are likely to feature. Theres no Hovis about it at all.
I’ve nothing against Hovis. I just don’t want Barnsley and Hovis to be viewed the same. When I woke up this morning I would have never guessed I’d be saying that.
Off next Tuesday, it'll be a great film about a magical time in the history of our town and our club. Thanks to Liam, Chris, and the others in the team whose names I don't know, for their dedication and hard work. Can't wait to see how it's turned out. I'm in it too, so blame me if you don't like it.
My wife, son & I are going to the Lamproom next Thursday - have also pre-ordered the DVD. Really looking forward to a great evening
Unfortunately can’t make the Lamproom on any of the dates and I may have have missed an update but weren’t people who donated money at the start supposed to get a DVD / down load
Everyone has been emailed mate - DVDs have been delayed unfortunately but be with people as soon as we can.
Course he hasnt. That would require him to do something other than spew verbal diarrhea. He just keeps conveniently ignoring the links that people give him. Like he does with anything that would make him think or prove him wrong.
You done good, Dyson. I'll be buying a copy as soon as I can. I hope you enjoyed the project... I'll bet it has got bigger and more complicated than you thought it would be. And you look set to see it through to end. That's a big 'well done'
