In my opinion, even though we struggled for the last half hour, or so. A complete contrast to the first hour, where we were playing well, knocking the ball about very stylishly. I'd have loved to have seen Kieffer Moore get his hat trick with that superb effort in the second half. Not our best performance, but a win's a win.
That wasn't an ugly win. I've seen a few of those in my time. It was a win that was nailed on until something went wrong in the second half. Then it became just a win.
Yeah, actually that's right to be honest, I suppose that first half just made the last 20 mins of the 2nd half look a bit panicky... Probably skewed my overall opinion of the game.
Twas upset by the changes in midfield, once we lost Potts and Moncur we lost the impetus of the first half. I guess all the players were knackered and we expect too much from them especially after that scintillating first half.
I think it was the loss of Potts. Might be a clumsy chap Potts but nobody else seems to fill the role he has like he does.
You might have seen a few ugly wins, but I reckon Ive dated them and gone home with them when I was possed on a Satdy night. There, does that make you feel any better ?.

I thought it was a decent game, attack minded. Gillingham didn't set up to defend like we saw against Wimbledon and we exploited it well. Their tails were up after the goal, and we started losing possession regularly with sloppy passing. Might prove to be a big three points later in the season. Deserved the win overall, but shows that this division can be competitive, and entertaining.
