I’m sorry but l just don’t see this guy as a captain, he cannot command his area never mind the team, you can see our defenders uncertainty with him on every threat, they know he won’t go where it hurts! You have to respect and have confidence in ‘your leader’. Also someone has to teach Lindsay how to pass a ball.

We’re undefeated mate and we’ve only conceded 3 goals this season.

I’d arguing he’s doing both jobs, enjoy it.

The keepers a joke and was one of the reasons we got relegated. .carnt comand his box and never comes for a cross to help his defenders . I won't mention his kicking .. and before any says he's a good shot stopper soos the rest of the keepers . And where talking about the defence having confidence in the keeper and that's not happening is it . Just panic .have a good night

He’s had a very good start to the year for me. No clangers and pulled off a number of good saves.

If Stendel thinks he’s the best to lead our team, unbeaten in 6, then it’ll do for me.

Yes there are areas he needs to work on. And hopefully he can improve them as the season goes on and his confidence returns.

Keep it up Adam & good luck with Wales fella.

Seems crazy amount of people knocking the players this season!

We’re doing great, how is it productive knocking them when we’re winning games!

He's had all last year to sort it out and he still hasant and a couple of times yesterday he should have come for crosses and didn't one only a couple of yards out which we where lucky to get away with...and i think you'll find the team in front of him are a good defence in this league. And not too confident in the goalkeeping coach too .

This is a strange thread given we’ve conceded 3 goals.

Davies has not had a huge amount to do so far but what he has had to do, I think he’s done well. The save from Eaves on Saturday instantly springs to mind.

If our game is on next weekend, with Davies and Dougall both missing, who do we think will be captain? I’d be tempted with either Lindsay or Keef leading from the front.

He has let 3 goals in 9 hours of football & one of them was a penalty , he was part of a team that got relegated & he certainly is not a joke & what are you on about with the defence having no confidence in him , 3 goals in 9 hours , the best defence in the league , get a grip man .

People knocking him for last season it’s gone now lads move on, hes doing a great job this season so support him. If you don’t think he’s good enough at championship level support him until we secure promotion then we’ll have another discussion.

Given the standard of spelling I'm guessing these people are from Sheffield..

So, we're undefeated, only let 3 in, playing expansive and flowing football, getting great plaudits for our conduct both on and off the field....and all you've got is "keeper is a $hit captain"...?

    Ok guy...

Davies was part of what relegated us? So was Lindsay, Pinillos, Cavare and Pinnock. Still manage to be 3rd in the league due to being watertight at the back.

If Davies isn’t captain - then who is ???
Stendel has already said the team is short of leaders.
And that was clearly evident against Gillingham in the last 20 minutes.

Davies is doing ok as captain if you watch him he always applauds the supporters, he directs the players towards the fans as well, he has spoken well and honestly in his interviews and is leading his team on an unbeaten run, he has been called up for his national side and comeback strongly after a tough season last year and after being replaced by Walton so I think this thread is a little bit off in parts .

God give me strength some fans will just find anything to moan at won’t they?

Stendels asked for us to show this young team more support especially when we look like we’re struggling and instead we’ve got folk on here slagging off a keeper who’s let in 3 goals in 6 matches.

Have a day off will you.
