I think he will end up top scorer In league one, closely followed by Cummings at Peterborough.

I don't know what it was but when Bradshaw was here Moore was missing complete sitters and looking frustrated.

I bet he's relieved that Bradshaw has gone?

    He certainly looks more confident.

Think he's just that sort of player, in his short time with us he has missed a bucket load of chances. But he continues go get into those areas, he is always a threat. Suppose he will get a lot more chances in this league so even if his conversion rate stayed the same then he will score plenty.
He and Dougall are out 2 most important players. Not least because I can't see how you replace them.

Totally the opposite for me , Bradshaw worked his nuts off pressing the opposition thus taking some of the workload off Moore & I might be wrong but I am sure Bradshaw played at Rochdale when Keef netted a hatrick & why would any player in your team contribute to missing a sitter ? , a strange view .

Got a chance to break our 68 years old league goals in a season, club record. It stands at 33 in the 1950-51 season and so he only needs another 28 in 40 games to beat it. If we don't sell him in January and he stays fit, it's doable against the riff raff clubs in this league.

No just like any league clubs are of noticeable levels of ability even in the same league. It's quite right to think our squad should be beating teams in this league regularly and not picking up many loses. It's not arrogance it's expectation. Our own board know it too to be open enough to admit promotion at first attempt is the aim. We are used to being a team clubs expect to beat. So let's enjoy a season where we for once are the club that expects.

Cummings is only on loan until January isn’t he (or has a recall clause). I really hope Forest recall him, or someone (us) buy him. Just to piss off McAnthony and Peterborough’s embittered fan base who still haven’t forgiven Luke Steele for them losing to Crystal Palace.

I take it that we are one of the favourites to do well this season & hopefully we continue with our fine start , but I still do not get this tag of riff raff , all the teams in this league are fully professional & are to be respected , when we went up last time we were bottom in december but improved beyond belief & the rest is history , so to dis any club at this stage is wrong .

    Very disrespectful.

How can you hope for us to get respect if we treat others badly.

It would certainly be great if we got him. Seen him a few times for Hibs in the past and certainly knows where the net is.

I think Keef will get more this season though.

Isn't part of supporting a football club the rivalry we have with opposition clubs and fans? When did we start having to show respect? A football club and even a collection of fans isn't a person who you can emotionally damage. It's a theoretical entity, a forever changing team, ownership and fanbase. One of the fun parts of being a football fan is that you don't have to show the opposition respect. We're not the players, we're not the management, we're the observers. I don't mean fighting or swearing, but mickey taking, deliberately undervaluing, brushing them off as being of no consequence, funny songs and witty one liners. I've no desire to be part of this new sanitised movement where we all have to show respect.

With the right service Moore should comfortably get 20-25 goals this season. I don't want to say that he's too good for League One, but he's certainly more than comfortable at this level. He's a unique player as well. I don't think there's another striker in the league that offers what he does. Good target man, great in the air, quick, strong, can finish... it's a really good package and his physique alone makes him very awkward to play against. If we continue doing well, I'd imagine he'll attract a good few offers in January, along with a few other players.

When you compare him to Eaves at Gillingham, who I think we were linked with at one point, Moore is light years ahead of him. Eaves looked and played like a pound shop Andy Carroll - I don’t doubt he’ll head in a few goals against weaker defences, but his all round game carries no threat what so ever.

18 goals last season and 4 already this. All despite the rest of the team not being as good as the guys we have supplying Moore. Personally I think Eaves is a cracking player who will join a bigger club soon enough.

Seems perfectly acceptable to me. General manager at our place is a Wednesday fan. For 15 minutes tomorrow morning we'll rip the piss out of one another's club, no respect offered or wanted (which reminds me, I better check their result). We'll laugh, try to top the other, and the day will be much better because of it.

The world is full of injustice and things that are unacceptable. Calling other clubs riff-raff on a partisan internet forum read almost exclusively by Barnsley fans isn't one of them.

Totally agree. Injury to either could seriously knock us off track. Not sure if Bahre could play the holding role, he looks more of an attacking midfielder, but Stendell did say he can play a number of positions in midfield, so that may be the case. Maybe Mowatt could do it. Potts, McGeehan & Moncur certainly can't & I've not seen enough of Bird to say if he can play that position. Maybe Cavare could?

Disagree, the original comments were describing other sides as riff raff & not cross banter between fans , if you have ever played the game the one thing you do not do is disrespect the opposition , once you think the opposition are inferior then you are asking for trouble but I have noticed a little bit of billy big boll-- creeping in on this site , something most of us have always disliked .& describing other teams as " riff raff " smacks of that attitude .
