Moncur great today. Two consecutive good games playing from the start. Deserves to keep his place imo.

Will struggle to throw off accusations of being lazy or unfit (neither of which are true atm) though to a certain extent that’s probably his own fault for his performances last season.

He’s quickly becoming a very dissapointing signing. I’m not even sure what type of player he’s trying or meant to be. Thought he was a goal scoring midfield but he tends to just jog about misplacing passes and not getting a foot in.

Really need a Mowatt type transformation!

McGeehan doesn't look anywhere near ready for the first team

Agree with this completely. Earlier I was trying to think of someone to fill in if Dougall is out for whatever reason and I considered McGeehan. Then when you think he was a goal scoring midfielder for Luton, putting him in for Dougall wouldn’t make much sense. I then tried to work out what kind of central midfielder he is for us and I really don’t know.

I had high hopes when we signed him and he had an okay few games for us last season before he was randomly dropped but I’m not sure about him now. Let’s hope he comes good!

Loves a sidewards sprint, before a sidewards pass. Seems to have a phobia of the opposition goal. Compare to Mowatt or Potts who run with the ball towards goal and go past a man. Not to worry at least he's out of contract next summer.

He does occasionally run with the ball, just 9 times out of 10 he doesn't seem to go forward with it. Those that watch back the game online will notice it themselves that when he gets the ball he usually runs to the side or passes to the side. Guess it's what the pros call possession football as if you don't risk losing it, your opponents can't get the ball.

I hope he comes good but I’ve probably seen McGeehan play about a dozen times now & he’s never offered anything apart from a late run & header against Boro.

I don’t know if he’s not playing to his potential or his leg breaks damaged him but either way he doesn’t look the player so many of our fans were raving about

I'm not one to nit pick, but I must admit I haven't yet seen anything encouraging from McGeehan.

Having said that, I've probably seen every minute he's played, but that doesn't amount to a great deal of game time.

I would imagine next week will be his chance to start, in Kennys absence, which could go either way.

If Stendel doesn't fancy him he'll possibly tuck Potts in and give Bahre a start?

Can't believe what I read on this forum. ******* clueless! I'd rather you sit at home if all you're going to do is winj. Having said that most fowk on this forum haven't been to a game since the play off final.

    Not a clue.

This post doesn’t make any sense.

We’re commenting on McGeehan’s performance, we wouldn’t be doing that if we’d not seen our team play since the play off final

We won. Why slate players after a victory? This forum is full of negativity towards 7 or 8 players, it's mob like behaviour. I fail to understand it at all. Criticism I can understand but there's a line and far too many people on here push it too far.

Too many comments and negativity from fowk who never go to games.

Agree about Moncur. He does get a lot of negative comments from our lot.

McGeehan though? No one is really slating him. We're just waiting for him to show something of what we signed him for.

To say those commenting don't go to games is just daft.
