How can you honestly watch his performance on Saturday and say you have "no doubts"?

Bit harsh in my opinion. Looked awful against Blackpool but from what I recall he did very little wrong in the few appearances made last season. I think the key to our clean sheets has been restricting the opposition chances, something which Dougall has been key in helping us achieve. Not sure we have anyone in the team who can read the game as well as he does.

I'd be happy with either McGeehan, or Potts in Dougall's place, so bringing in Bahre wide right if Potts and no other change in outfield if McGeehan. McGeehan centre midfield is the natural switch and I would go for that as first option. it brings least disruption to the team.

I'd bring in McGeehan. Yes, I'd have doubts but I'd also see it as a big chance for him to prove himself and clearly Daniel who sees him all the time knows there's something in him to have him on the bench and not be afraid to use him. His performance at Millwall in the league last year says to me that he can do it.

I'd play McGeehan, Mowatt and Potts (his surging forward is crucial to us) in a three with our paciest and best crosser, Brown, and Thiam to support Moore from wide (all assuming Woodrow and Bahre aren't ready to start yet).

Both Burnsley and Warsaw are sorely missing Tom Bradshaw aren't they. :p
We have a good home record against them but I might be inclined to go for a score-draw this time.

Massive test....arguably our most influential player in Dougall...who has been massive for us so far...and davies..who ...I still don't think we have an adequate back up for.
Think gaffer will pick mcgeehan and try not bring in new lads just yet...but introduce gradually....Come on reds!
Btw anyone know if Woodrow is nearly ready for first team action yet??

Stendel suggested he might be ready in 2 weeks.

So if you're playing McGeehan & Brown, who else are you dropping from the starting lineup - Moncur?

Do we know if Potts is carrying a knock though? He was subbed off last Saturday. Either way he might benefit from a rest today. He's not as defensively oriented as Dougall, but it makes sense putting him in the middle, being quite a strong player.

I think I’d keep the starting 11 changes to a minimum, plus Moncur played alright last w/e. So a replacement for Dougall is all for the outfield players. Maybe Brown could slot in & Potts drop back to DM. However, I’d prefer Potts further up the field.

Bird in for Dougall on tonight's viewing. McGeehan poor again.
