But for a little composure 3-1 it could've been, but credit to Walsall they're a good fit team and will have a good season in my opinion.
Definitely missed Dougall and Potts the lad Mcgeehan looks well out his depth but for me Pinnock was superb today.
We are a good young side that will only get better as the season progresses I can stand a draw and even a loss as long as I see desire and effort and it's there in abundance at the moment.

I thought our 2 CBS were poor at times today. Some vital interceptions between them, but overall I thought they looked a bit shaky today

I take your point but the midfield at times put our centre backs under some pressure easy passes being picked off by the Walsall lads but it was a decent game

My view was that our centre backs put themselves under pressure on more than one occasion and that for me was Pinnocks worst game. He looked very nervous on occasions.

Mowatt repeatedly getting caught in possession definitely put the defence under pressure, yet it’s Moncur who gets all the stick. Thought Mowatt was dreadful, especially second half.

Pinnock more than once saved us from being beaten as the poster above says the midfield caused us those problems

Bang on Sir, thought Mowatt got caught way too many times, the players also looked a little distracted, I wonder if the early morning incident in Town played any part in that.

I thought Mowatt was very good for about 70 minutes, not far off been man of the match but then had a last 20 mins & gave the ball away twice in dangerous area’s.
