If you can see them through the fog, which is odd as it wasn't a foggy day: http://www.skysports.com/watch/vide...ions/league-one/11493374/barnsley-1-1-walsall And walsall's miss is deemed worthy of a video of its own: http://www.skysports.com/watch/vide...league-one/11493438/walsall8217s-glaring-miss Must admit, it is difficult to miss the goal from there.
I can get videos to load no problem on any other website but for some reason sky sports videos just refuse to play for me on any browser
Thought so the flag did go up after the effort then straight back down. If it had gone in who knows the ref was hardly sure of himself.
I’m pretty sure offside wasn’t flagged for but could be wrong. I don’t remember it being anywhere near as foggy at the game as what it looked like on the highlights, weird.
I saw the linesman with his flag pointing across the line. However, I'm still not sure if it was for an offside or to signal the goal kick.
When the keeper put the ball on the edge of the 6 yard box the linesman went and stood in line with the 18 yard box which I think indicates a goalkick but could be wrong.
They position themselves at the edge of the box for any kick from out of the box. Gives them a bit of a start when racing back up the line to catch up to the outfield players. Used to do it all the time when I was on the line
I was in line it was offside, l think the linesman settled for a goal kick, but l would have expected him to ‘overrule’ had he scored.
He wasn't. Others were but he wasn't, you can actually see that from the video. There's a Barnsley player running out who is playing him onside and that's after the ball is kicked.
