No queue at all today in east stand lower. Pre-poured pints which they topped up. Worked a treat. Anyone else notice this? We were in absolute shock coming down after the whistle to find no one at the bar.

Upstairs I queued for 15 minutes and gave up as second half started. The worst its ever been.

We sit east upper but always venture downstairs. Food queue was still long but no queue at bar. Head downstairs next time mate.

It's getting daft. I never buy any catering from inside the ground, but I do occasionally use the loos. Just impossible to get through, due to a huge queue blocking the entire space. They really need to start using some of the other available space in the East Upper, to serve drinks.

Don’t usually bother myself but fancied a bovril because I’m made up with man flu. Bloody stupid.

I will give it a go. I have pretty much given up in the half time beer but will give it a go.

East lower, ponty end side. No queue at all throughout half time. Rather odd, but could only attribute it to the fact that they had pre poured pints.

Might have been a one off, but was a nice change to get a pint and have time to drink it. Even if it was Carling.

I’ve never seen a queue at the bar next to Gangway 4 in East lower.

What worries me is that it takes people on here to recommend having pre poured pints for anything to change

    It’s not rocket science

Not sure which end that is but usually queues in bar near ponty and middle bar. I've been waiting 5-10 mins each game this season.

100% agree, took my 5 year old yesterday and we sat in the family area. After 30 minutes he asked if he could have a hot dog at half time. Knowing what it would be like we went down to join the queue after 38 minutes and it took us 10-15 minutes to get served. Felt sorry for those who came down at half time as they must have missed at least 10 minutes of the 2nd half. It is something that needs addressing urgently, the service is just so slow...

From premier league year to about 2004 east stand upper bar next to gangway13 was ace. There were three staff on and she got to know us all and let us prepay drinks on for half time and then when half time came just pick em up off end of bar giving her a nod so she knew while the fifty lemmings in the queue stood and watched.
