Given we have now seen most of our squad play (Woodrow excl) and assuming all are fit and available, what would you say is the best starting 11 and who makes the bench? 11 to start, for me... Davies Cavaré Pinnock Lindsey Pinillos Bähre Mowatt Dougal Thiam Moore Adebeyojo 7 for Bench..... Walton Jackson Moncur Potts Woodrow Brown Isgrove McGeehan, Williams, Williams, Isgrove, Fryers, Bird to push for bench places. Also At this point Potts over Bähre or Thiam is a close one for me. Also now sure is Woodrow would be an option over Adebeyojo to start. I would say though options in attack from the bench still look a bit inexperienced and maybe something to fix in Jan.
Potts is a definite starter for me. He brings something to the team that nobody else does and I thought we missed him badly yesterday. Very early days for Bahre, I thought he looked good in the second half yesterday and showed some nice touches. I imagine we’d probably go with one of the Williams fullbacks on the bench too.
I'd certainly like to see Potts back in and Bahre given a go ahead if Thiam. Victor is progressing nicely but I don't think he's the answer as a starter at the moment. I'm hoping Woodrow is fit to start next week.
Potts has to play - as much the first name in midfield as Mowatt and Dougall. Bahre show enough yesterday to warrant a place over Thiam. Cavare is in cos we've no-one else.
I tend to agree and maybe i should have Potts starting. The bit i fight with in my head is how would the balance of the team play out if its Thiam he replaces. Mowatt doesnt play well wide and in fact Thiam is more effective wider left. So how would our left side balance work with Potts, Mowatt, Dougal and Bahre in the line up. Our wide left position is maybe one of our underserved positions.
As others have said Potts is one of our best players. Other than him in for Victor (who I think makes a great impact sub, with Moncur), I think you've nailed it. Woodrow I'm hoping will force his way in & Hedges. We need options.
Hard to name a best 11 as we have too many unknowns. Where will Bahre fit in and how good is he? We don't know what to expect from Woodrow either and how quickly he will settle. I'd like to Isgrove and Hedges involved when fit and give us some natural width.

On yesterday’s showing only it looks like Bahre could push Thiam & Potts for a starting spot. Pinillos has his best game for us yesterday so I’d give him the nod over Fryers.
Yeah he has been involved in more goals than any defender in the league and has been a regular in a back 4 which has conceded one of the fewest in the division. Course he only plays because we have no one else.

If fit, Dougall and Mowatt should be the centre midfield pair if the play 4-4-2, no doubt, if we play 4-3-3, then it has to be Potts and Mowatt, with Dougall sat just behind, defence and keeper sorts itself at the minute and Moore is easily (without seeing the new lad) our most important attacker, the rest of the positions are still up for grabs I reckon.

Yes Potts has to play. And it’s nice to see some on here starting to appreciate what he brings to the team - that drive forward.
