This is absolutely appalling

You've been hacked. That's what this is. And your company joins the list of almost every other company with a Web and/or social media presence that has, at some time, been hacked.
We very rarely hear exactly how a company is hacked as they do not wish to advertise their vulnerabilities, but many will recognise your account as something similar to their own.
I hope this incident hasn't damaged the reputation of yourself or your company or the relationship you have with BFC and with your employee. You're all victims in this.

Many thanks Jay, part of the response we received in our investigation was that the user did not know that it was from our account that the comments had been made, nor had any idea that what they had written be taken in the manner in which they have been, unfortunately I am the brand and the brand is me so I have my work cut out making sure we do not suffer nor do our employees who have absolutely no connection with this incident.
I am a Barnsley fan through and through at the end of this and I’ve spent all weekend trying to resolve a matter we didn’t know existed so much so that we didn’t go the the match yesterday due to pure devastation.

I am glad this incident has now been sorted and I am sorry to hear that this ordeal has brought on a lot of stress for you. I’m apologising because it was me that brought this to common knowledge, but I felt I had to do so as my duty of being a Barnsley fan.

Fair play to you for posting these statements on here and fair play to you for all the good work you have done for this community.

Hope this can now be quickly forgotten and everyone can now move forward.

 

Hi Indie, without you bringing this to the attention of the forum of which I have not been a member of until yesterday then this comment amongst others would have gone unknown and potentially causing lots more damage than what we have all witnessed here.
I’m sure we have all learnt some lessons here, i for one have and certainly regarding our companies trust and as a fan with a deeply imbedded desire to see the reds aspire to heights that they deserve and I’m glad I can now follow you guys on here and read about everybody’s thoughts on games and decisions.
I’m visiting the club this week to oragansie a large build which will be situated near the away end for security, this will be donated by Garden Shed Uk as we only associate ourselves with the club because of a genuine passion for football.
Hopefully we can move on from this and enjoy the season together with our aim of supporting the super reds tompromotion.
