I don't agree with that at all. There are far more knobheads elsewhere on social media. Facebook for example is an illiterate, ill informed embarrassment.

 

There'll be plenty of traffic if we lose a few matches.

 

Is there any wonder people have left with the scale of bullying and nasty evil abuse some of us had to put up with and nothing was done about it. I know of a case where one our lady members was stalked. It's no fun when idiots like The Full Ponty, AKA Steve Taylor, who still seems to be popular on here make unfound comments about people he was never meet being paedophiles. He made a post so vile against me no would tell me what he said, even my own family wouldn't tell me what he said in his last foul post against me. Admin did remove that post before I saw it but it was the only action ever taken against him.

 

If you didn't read it and don't know what it said then how do you know what it was? Wasn't that post intended as a joke anyway?

I’ve heard M1 is a bit clogged up just south of Wakefield and there’s been an accident on the A1 near Marr.

 

Agreed also missed are Dr zazlos the reeve red rain who did the minority report and many more but those 3 are just off top of my head.

 

I don’t know if people are getting abused or not for their views but my take on it is if they start abusing me I don’t reply anymore to them fill stop .
If I’m wrong or controversial in my views I get loads pulling me up on it I don’t take that as abuse .
And if I think dkmeone else is wrong I’ll tell them so choose how many others have already done so.
If it’s genuine abuse then it should be stopped and if you complain to admin they usually act if it’s flagged imo.
Some take criticism of their views as abuse which is totally wrong also imo.
If you don’t like a certain poster then theirs the ignore button also.
I liked Ponty 72 don’t know what’s happened but it’s his choice and is respected for it .

 

Certainly don't miss the reeve and dr. zazlos for mind-numbing repetition, but I liked Red Rain's academic analysis on why we'd lost again.

 

It was so nasty and horrible that his post was taken down after protests from other posters before I saw it. The Family kept the comments away from me as they know I would have wanted to have more than a quiet word with him. I seem to recall making a request to admin for me to see the post but it was denied. So it must have been very bad. He had previously made a post say I was interested in little boys. He came on to the board posting a why is it me who people are having a go at, acting the victim. I still watch out for him when I'm at Oakwell just in case I see him. The stalking victim will remain confidential as it also breached medical confidentiality. I will say it was a Lady.
