I had eye injections over five years for AMD. First at Calderdale where one in three gave such pain I couldn’t sleep for the first night. I then went to Hallamshire, and had no problems.

My dad has them. Definitely uncomfortable but similar experience to Xerxes - sometimes very little in the way of pain, other times it's lasted for a day or so.

I’ve had them done they don’t hurt as eyes well anaesthetised once that wears off it feels like there’s something in eye. Last time I had them I got a mild infection so I always ask for eye drops after. Barnsley hospital is very good
