    Big Brother launches on Channel 5 at 9 pm tonight. Apparently it includes a 35 year old waitress
    from Barnsley. Her name has not yet been disclosed. In her profile, she says " if you can make me
    laugh you're in."!!! Should be an interesting watch.

    hardly anything theses days, the quality of TV is rubbish. I watch a lot of movies and some box sets via things like Amazon and netflix. Like the quiz shows & Sport shows.... and that's about it.

    I heard on LBC today that it has been axed however I'm sure something equally *****, pointless and mind numbing will replace it. There seems to be an endless supply of soaps, reality and celebrity* reality shows on tele these days.

    *I'm stretching the definition of celebrity to its outermost limit.

    I studied Sociology at College so although I agree it's quite banal at times it useful to
    see how the participants interact with each other. Watch it if my wife puts it on, but find
    something else to do when X Factor is on. Now that is a mind numbing programme.!

    I used to watch X factor and Britains got talent in the early days when they allowed the mentally insane on at the auditions..... but now they filter most of them out and even put them over on ITV 2 in a separate show..... not the same.... there have been some real nut jobs on over the early years.

    Axed by Channel 5 but will be back as usual next year on another channel. My guess would be ITVBE so like it has on Channel 5, it can start soon as Love Island finishes so that station can have the monopoly of young viewers. Not that anyone is going to beat Ashley Ward as the star of that channel.

    Yeah he's on Real Housewives Of Cheshire with his wife and kids. Real open about his personal life top lad he is. Probably still be in my all time Barnsley 11 when I'm old.

    When a housemate is evicted the remaining ones shouldn't hear cheers and applause. Just a single gunshot. Then silence.

    If anyone thinks TV is boring, please watch INSIDE NO. NINE. And if you don't like it, watch another as they are all self contained episodes.

    Also, Taskmaster. The best thing on telly at the moment.
