If you see the first away win at Coventry in 95 years I'm sure it will have been worth it.

The last sentence starts with "IF" mind.

    Fair play, that is commitment.

Gym for me, study, drop Mrs off at work then short trip down M69. Buzzing.

It isn't so much commitment as weird choices. No need to be going at 8am, or to have been up all day yesterday and then worked all night.

Not criticising because theyre his choices to make but it isn't a case of rushing around to get to the game, its getting a taxi to the pub seven hours before kick off for a game that's an hour and half away. I'd say he's more mental than loyal but each to their owb
Hope he and everyone else has a great day that ends with 3 points

Did a similar thing many years ago. Worked a night shift then straight to Swindon and played for supporters club. Ended up nodding off whilst watching the reds and falling off a railing at the back of the away section.

All that for a 0-0 stalemate.

Get your head down on the way there and on the way back, mate.
In between, put your trust in Trevor Kettle. If anyone can give you that extra shot of adrenaline, he's the man.

Bus set off at 9 so obviously needed to be there early. I very very rarely miss a game. Still to be decided tho, mental or loyal

If he doesn't drive, he hasn't much choice. All the coaches (bar the official ones) set off at daft o'clock and the trains are a nightmare at the moment.

    Deffo mental.

I remember years back, when I worked in Reading. I did a Friday Night shift, drove 200 miles to Barnsley, filled car up with petrol, got a about 3 hours sleep at Mums. Mum made us something to eat, went to match and then drove back to Reading to do the Saturday Night shift - got there at 8 pm. Not saying how fast I was driving on M1, but it was before all the roadworks started.

I didn't miss in the 80s and early 90s. I interrupted a family holiday in Blackpool twice in one week to travel back to Barnsley to catch supporters club buses to Birmingham and Brighton. Brighton was midweek and travelling back to Blackpool at 3am showed me how possible it was to fall asleep at the wheel. Some years later we had a boozy weekend in Blackpool taking in the Oldham cup tie. I met a lass that weekend who I went back to see whenever I could...until I cut a weekend with her short to drive to our away game at Birmingham. She wasn't impressed and finished with me. I was definitely mental rather than loyal. I was punching well above my weight there. I didn't make the same mistake when I met my future wife a few months later. Away games became an occasional treat.
