Out in force after our first defeat of the season, which has finally arrived in MID SEPTEMBER. Must have been salivating as they dusted off their keyboards.
Barnsley in losing match shocker. Unprecedented. Disgraceful. Likes of Coventry. Struggling to avoid the drop etc etc.
Wrong. Fans are not concerned that we lost. Read the foooking posts FFS. They are angry on how we have lost. ......... I’ll give yer a clue. A shed load of chances - some of them easy chances and it’s still nil poi !!! Another season. Another season of creating a shed load of chances. Another season where no fooker can score.
Another season where everything's fooooooooooooking ***** and there's nowt positive to say about any foooooooooooker. Right?
Correct me IF iam wrong but Iam pretty sure we've scored FIFTEEN goals and are THIRD in league for goodness sake what do you want? It's a long time to end of season reality check!!!!
Probably the same idiots that booed after full time versus Walsall. Get a grip you emotional clowns. We’re in 3rd in a very long season
Let's be right, if we'd lost having created no chances, or been hammered 4-0, they'd be just as vocal about that instead.
Still think we can improve but we will need to. The last 3 performances have been poor. Now having played poor we have got a win a draw and a loss so if we can improve we should be fine.
The point is this isn't a knee jerk reaction to one defeat. The frustrations have been there for all to see and read over the last few weeks. We are no longer the team that had Oxford, Bradford and Rochdale fans purring.
Seconded. And even tho I wasn’t a Bradshaw fan - it’s coincided with the Bradshaw sale. He’s left a huge hole - and we are expecting a young kid from Fulham to fill it. Fingers crossed on that one.
I hate us losing but we are at least creating chances - far better than playing dogsh1te, creating nowt and getting beat.
Ridiculous post by the OP in my view. The fact we lost is secondary to the points being made. We might have scraped a draw or even a 2-1 win on another day, but the fact would still have remained that we are nothing like the side that started the season like a whirlwind. Sides couldn’t cope with our intensity. Nobody will convince me that losing Bradshaw wasn’t the main contributor to our drop in form. It was clear to me he was a key element to how we were playing, and he hasn’t been replaced in the team by anyone who wasn’t already here so far. We weakened our team and are reaping the costs of that. I understand why he wanted to go and I also understand keeping him might not have been the right thing to do in terms of long term strategy, we don’t want to be seen as an awkward club who will never let you go as that will make us less attractive to prospective signings. But I think they got this one wrong. I honestly think had Bradshaw been in the side we’d have had several more points, we wouldn’t have lost momentum, we wouldn’t have let defences have the time to play that they didn’t have against us before. Anyway it’s been done to death, I’ve made a similar point on another thread already today too so I maybe didn’t need to write it here, but I think it’s massively unfair to dig out people pointing things out about our form and suggesting reasons why. It’s one defeat, but it’s one that has been coming as we’ve been going backwards for weeks.
15 points and the first loss of the season so far. If you would’ve told me that before the season started I would’ve snapped your hand off. Everyone saying that we’d piss this league before a ball was kicked was very naive. Granted this is a poor league but we’re a team that’s still learning by making many mistakes, but the difference is this year, we won’t get punished as much as last season I have every confidence that Stendel and his men will iron those out and get our season back on track starting next weekend against Burton So come on guys, it’s one defeat. This won’t cost our season. Keep the faith
Ah I’m sorry I thought for a minute you expected us to play like that for all 9 months for a minute there.
Hang on a minute , we've lost a match to a mid table third division team that we're in the forth division last season , a little bit of criticism is justified sometimes .
