Anyone like me to ask our headcoach a question on their behalf? Will post the reply here For those wanting to attend in person details of the meeting are in this thread: http://barnsleyfc.org.uk/threads/daniel-stendel-and-gauthier-meeting-wednesday.271909/
Yes please. Could you.. tell him I have fallen in love with him and the style already... we have had a great start to the season but obviously our first defeat as now hit us also 1 or 2 other results not what we had hoped and expected... have the management team watched these games back and pointed out what could be improved and what excersises are in place to try build on our good start. In Daniel we trust!!! UP THE REDS
Are we adopting the zonal marking system, and if so what does he believe are the benefits when defending corners and free kicks?
How does he feel about the ball boys’ sloppy retrieval of the ball? Does he feel that it slows the game down and impacts on the way he wants to play?
Why couldn't Adam hammill have been incorporated in to his style of play? Does he see Mcgheehan as a AM or DM cover for Dougall.? Bahre seems better centrally and not wide does he prefer to play with 3 CM and lose a winger or striker? We have lost control of games in the last 15mins in some games is it down to fitness or concentration? Moncur has undoubted talent how can he get that out of him consistently? Isgroves fitness why can't we get him to stay fit!? Has he identified signings for January to push us on? Which positions?
Regarding the dilemma of determinism, does he believe that our actions are controlled by a causal chain of preceding events (or by some other external influence), or that we're truly free agents making decisions of our own volition. Essentially - does man truly have free will? Also - who’s the worst dresser in the squad? Thanks Gally.
What does he put the improvements in the German national team down to and are these methods something that he intends to replicate at Barnsley
Zonal marking is a problem for the players ,losing too many goals from set plays, we never had this problem last year in a league with better quality
Whilst I do not disagree with you , we have only let 5 goals in 8 matches & one of those was a penalty which indicates that defending has been pretty decent
I disagree. For the past handful of games our defence has looked pretty shakey. Thankfully playing riff raff teams means they don't take their chances as often as championship clubs would against us. I would give Jackson a start but it's never going to happen.
