Bloody hoylanders. ;). Would like to see Arabian Ian's take on this one. Can see him getting a good hiding if he wore an England shirt but hopefully not with a Tarn shirt. Over to you Ian.
Not sure of the point there. If the song" frump Tarn are we " was sung by just them from Tarn and not all surrounding boroughs of Barnsley you'd hear a pin drop. No offence tarnies.;)

I do. Little scrawny bloke with straggly hair and glasses. I didn't realise he was a blunt though.

Born in the front bedroom of 25 Frederick Street, which was officially known as Cawood Terrace, and never lived more than 400m away as the Crow flies. It was a terrace of 8 houses with 2 addresses.

You appear to relish in being an outsider though. You have mentioned it many many times that you are an outsider, that Barnsley people and Barnsley fans don't treat you as their own, that you disagree with 'he's one of our own' songs because you are not and despite people telling you every time that it doesn't matter you are a Barnsley fan regardless and as such one of OUR own you still find new ways to tell everyone that you aren't. I genuinely don't understand it

That's him! Yes, he was telling us about it one day. Nice bloke.

    Wonder if he still attends?

My dad, born in ward green, brought up in hoyland moved to jump when he married my mam. Was the proudest Jumper thats ever lived and he would always make sure if he went anywhere. He'd make a point of it, if anyone asked him where he was from he'd allus say. " Jump, first place god built" But his mates used to say "nah he's an hoylander" still loved his mates and reciprocated. god, how I miss him.

I said earlier that i havn't worn colours at matches since i was a kid. However my father's local team is Platanias FC (just spent a couple of seasons in the greek premier league but now relegated) He watches them a few times a season and has bought me a couple of their tops which i happily wear when i'm over there. It doesn't make me Greek and i don't feel i'm betraying my heritage.
