Well that's all going terribly well for those knuckle-dragging ****s. I would possibly self-combust with unbridled joy if they were to go down...

Reading losing at home to Norwich too. Still early days but I wonder if Yiadom will be involved in another relegation scrap?

I'm glad his transfer can't be reversed.

Imagine moving to Millwall for “family reasons” ironic.

Millwall are having an very poor run, which is strange as it's the same team basically that nearly got 6th last season. They're a bit all or nothing it seems, with results dependent on how the momentum swings. Could well be in a relegation scrap and Bradshaw isn't likely to be of great use in my opinion, mainly due to his stature and lack of pace. They already have too relatively slow forwards (Gregory isn't slow but not lightening either).

Reading and Ipswich both to drop for me, two clubs going absolutely nowhere despite Reading's unlikely play off appearance two years ago.

    I agree.

If neither of the Sheffield clubs are getting relegated I wouldn’t mind seeing Reading, Bolton and Birmingham go down.

Thanks for the club-record fee, lads.

Though I wish we still had him in a way. There aren't many goals in him, but I respect him for the way he ran his nuts off at Rochdale. He must have known he was off, but he kept their defence under pressure all night. They couldn't live with it and we miss having two hard-working forwards to press opponents.

I know you never rated him. I didn't think much to his finishing. But he gave us something we're currently lacking.

I was quite surprised they paired Bradshaw and Gregory up to start, basically for the reasons you just stated.

You would think that if you're going to break your transfer record that the player in question would hopefully improve you.

Running about a lot and pressing defenders is ok if it's party to getting results, but not in isolation.

I agree with you, with the caveat that we haven't yet seen Woodrow.

Though I do think that even when Woodrow is fit and hopefully scoring, we are a striker short. And, for that matter, a central defender.

I must have known you were going to say that when I last posted lol

You're right of course. I don't rate him, but I do appreciate he works hard.

Well this is why I couldn't understand their interest in signing him. Even during their winning run last season they struggled with goals and lacked pace. They got by through hard work and an old school 4-4-2 game plan, helped by a hostile home crowd. The needed pace this year and a better goal threat but have ended up signing a slower version of Gregory.

Yep that's what always got me too, you would have thought Moore would have been the ideal target for them.

He would indeed, and he would be contributing to a good team at this level.

He's a bit out on a limb there. If he's not scoring, and no one else is, his hard work won't be enough and they'll soon be on his case.

1 shot on target Millwall according to the stats. It's a joy to watch.
