I bought 2 for the draw today I would like the club to put all funds taken from today's draw and give them to the air ambulance

I agree with the sentiment but don’t think they’d be allowed to. It’d be nice to have a bucket collection at the rearranged fixture though.

    Agreed.
I Applaud the efforts of everyone involved today, doing an awful job that I certainly could never do.

That said, it also showed what a disgrace our NHS funding is. An air ambulance that gets zero government funding and has to rely on donations to save peoples lives and road ambulances that take the best part of half an hour to arrive at a town centre football match. Its about time that we stopped giving the NG tax breaks to billionaires and properly funded our NHS. People's lives quite literally depend on it.

As there is another thread running, in a brilliant effort to raise funds for the air ambulance, could the half time draw money be used to fund coach travel for the Burton fans to the rearranged fixture.
It would appear that the unfortunate person, receiving medical attention, was linked to our club, which makes their fans' humanity even more respectful than it first appeared when most assumed it was a Burton fan.
Funded coaches and free car parking for those who choose to drive would be a small gesture of goodwill.

Be good to have a bucket collection before a future home game. Between playing Walsall and Bristol Rovers that's seven weeks between 3 pm home games, which is the time we get our better crowds. We can't wait that long. Plymouth as next home game it should be done, but crowd will be down. Maybe we could also have a bucket at Oakwell for those using the box office and club shop.

Actually the Bristol rovers game is the week of the Yorkshire air ambulance's 18th birthday. (25/10, we play 27/10) so it would be a really good opportunity to highlight that and the work they do and earn some money for them in the meantime

Agreed. Club could open an account so our fans donate through it so we know how much specifically from today our fans raised through online donations and bucket collections at games and/or club shop and ticket office. Make that Bristol game a Air Ambulance game like today was retro day. Have a feature in the programme about their work and maybe a interview with someone who works there. Like today we could have paramedics in each stand (or just Family Stand depending on availability) to show anyone how to do CPR. Then around 2:45 do a cheque presentation on the pitch of however much we as a club have raised for them.
