I had the car radio on for the results on my way home tonight. The reporter said "Barnsley Vs Burton postponed due to a medical incident" I wondered what had happened. I have Just read up on what happened and watched the footage of the Air ambulance and the treatment of the fella by the medical personnel already at the ground. I have to agree that it was a correct and humane decision to have called it off. I take my hat off to all concerned and both sets of fans who showed great togetherness today. Both clubs have shown a real respect for life and well being of their fans. I wish the lad a speedy recovery and my sincerest best wishes go out to his family. A great gesture by both clubs now would be to get advice from the doctors and as and when the lad is well enough then ask him and his family back to the re-arranged fixture in one of the executive suites.

Really glad to hear that there was no booing after the match was called off. I admit to being surprised that it was, given most major sporting events/show etc would probably continue after a delay, but credit to all involved for showing patience and compassion and the positive side of football. Hopefully the club will keep us informed as to the condition of the gentleman concerned and we all hope he makes a full recovery.

what a seriously in appropriate post. you have just announced to the world what a complete arse you are.
As if a result elsewhere is relevant to a tragedy for a Man and his family... do you even think things through before you post things... your parents mus be very proud at the way you have turned out in life..... sleep well.

Were you at the match? No..... I was. Go support Cardiff City (season ticket), you sad individual. Comment on something you experienced, like I did.
It was a weird experience in the ground. Everyone was very respectful & it was a credit to the club. I commented on being disappointed in that a game at this time of the year costs me £400 in lost earnings & I only make about £600 a week, just because DJ work is saturday night. Selfish, but true. Honesty is a good thing. Grow up & become a Bluebird.
