Thought he had a decent game to say it was his first in months. Seemed fitter than some of his team mates

I thought he struggled first half but came into it a bit more second half. Maybe there wasn’t as much pressure on him defensively but I thought whatever position he was (left back, left wing back?) I thought he improved after the break.

Didn't really get into it in the first half but was our best defender in the second half. Not sure if that says how well he played or how piss poor Pinillos and Cavare were

He ended up as left back but was better than his team mate at right back. I expected Plymouth to target him in the second half but he wasn't the weak link.

He was utter gash the first half, when we attacked he went narrow, seemed to impede play.
Second half played at left back, added width got some decent crosses in, got a yard of pace.

To me the fact that he started shows that we perhaps didn't take Plymouth as seriously as we should have done. I can't see him starting against any other team after such a long layoff with no involvement.

Didn`t Stendel play him in the last pre season friendly, where he got injured, the last friendly is usually played with the same players that start on the opening day. Think Stendel likes him.

I thought he was at fault for their goal as he showed the goalscorer inside instead of outside & never got the tackle in , having said that , as the game went on his performance improved & I thought the level of fitness he showed to last the full 90 was impressive .

I don’t agree with that at all. He was included because he offers decent dribbling and crossing ability. I imagine had Pinillos not gone off injured (and hence Hedges going to left back) he wouldn’t have played the full 90.

Was to blame for the goal for me as well. Tracked their player all the way across the box then gave up. I wonder if he thought he shouldn't be in that area seeing as he was playing full back. 2nd half though I was impressed by him. Thought some of yesterday's debacle was down to structure and not just player capability and once Stendel got his head round it, things improved.

Looked good at full back in the 4-3-3, would start for me even if Pinilos is fit.

Not for me , we still have the best defensive record in the league to which Pinilos has been an ever present .

That IMO is because we attack so much and the opposition hasn't got as far as our defence very often. I'm still convinced we have one of the worst defences in the division and the reason our defensive record is so good is because it has been rarely tested due to teams not getting beyond the midfield.

You defend as a team & you attack as a team & currently we have the best defensive record in the league & that has included Pinilos at left back , they are facts , whilst you are saying the total opposite , which is just an opinion .
