Ref was appalling tonight. Pinillos’ tackle (which he got injured in) was a perfectly timed tackle. Not only was it not a foul, it definitely wasn’t a booking ffs Some of the advantages played were questionable too.
Our programme only shows him on 3 before today too but oddly it doesn't show him as booked against scunthorpe. Rescinded?
From man City website regarding carabao cup this season Until now, five bookings in all domestic competitions would contribute to a one-match ban. However, the ruling has been amended to exclude League Cup cautions, which will only be relevant to that competition.
Agreed that’s why he got booked but when the ref isn’t doing his job, I.e taking action against three offences in 30seconds, kicking the ball away, I can understand Dougall’s frustration. Inept reffing.
Yes he did. But the ref was responsible by his ineptitude. The player got exactly what he wanted by cheating and the ref failed.
I'm still trying to fatham out why the muppet in the middle was talking to two of there players on the half way line in injury time
I think its time we started to look at the refereeing facilities. Surely we should paint a referee montage game on game of their greatest moments, laying rose petals as they walk to the centre, manicure and pedicures on request pre and post game and travel vouchers for holidays to Nice 3 times a year. The consistent inconsistency (or bias) of decisions is getting beyond a joke now. All I can think is we take their loved ones hostage, and their soul retribution is to make bizarre decisions for 90+ minutes.
I was sat in the west stand & had a clear view & despite your sarcastic jibe at being " Perfectly timed ", well it was & he clearly won the ball & the tackle was certainly not "horrible", that is in my humble opinion .
