That's all the problem is. Score goals and everything else falls into place. Lots of talk about missing Bradshaw and other stuff, but the chances were there to retake the lead and go on and win the game. We didn't play well, and Plymouth came and had a right good go at it, but in the second half we got well on top but were wasteful. As frustrating as it was to watch, it could easily have been worse as Plymouth had a go at the end. Still averaging almost 2 points a game and with a game in hand. 1 defeat in 10. Loads of us mentioned this being a banana skin tonight, and it turned out to be, so I'm not too shocked. Bring on the Posh. I fancy us better on the road. Sketchy at Oakwell.
Glad to see some common sense surface on this board tonight. We were poor tonight, however, some of the comments seem rather over the top to me. We are still in the play offs, with a game in hand after 10 games. Surely most would've been happy with that before the season started? Particularly those predicting a mid-table or lower half finish.
I'm not so sure. He's only brought up when we don't win. I'm sure he played against Wimbledon, which was pretty similar to tonight's game. You can't call him that anyway. You'll be on the naughty step with me.
I didn’t account for 2 things last season. Bolton jousing that last game with a team they couldn’t afford. Just morais
Hammill for Thiam and we're a different side... Sorry it's been done to death but that's my thoughts.
Me too. I'll also be happy with a draw at the weekend. Just lack that bit of composure in the final third at the moment and that's not a skill I'd particularly attribute to Bradshaw. We seem to be going through a bit of a sticky patch at present but still remain 5 points off 2nd with a game in hand. Not too shabby.
Yet again, possession and shots on/off target weighed in our favour as well. We're not conceding many and must be averaging 2 goals per game? Lots to build on.
I’m sick of hearing about Adam bloody Hammill. Has everyone forgot that he shafted us years back to go to Wolves? Karma in my eyes that he let him go in return. Yes I’ve loved watching the lad in a reds shirt and he gave his all but he was much better the first time round. He was average at best last season People need to move on, I’m more gutted we lost Josh Scowen. He’s exactly what we need this season!
